As we celebrate 50 years of forming hearts and minds, we proudly want to give back to the community and launch a meaningful project: Reaching Out in Love: 50 Seeds of Service.

Rooted in our mission of providing personal integral education and aligned with our core value of Service to God and Others, this initiative brings together the 17 PAREF schools nationwide in a shared commitment to give back. More than a celebration, this is a living expression of who we are—a community that goes beyond the classroom to make a difference in the lives of others.

The 50 Community Engagement Initiatives represent a series of outreach and community service programs led by students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff. Each activity reflects the unique strengths and advocacies of our schools, responding to real needs in various communities—from education and formation, to health, environment, and social development.

Through these efforts, we continue to form individuals who are not only academically excellent, but also compassionate, responsible, and committed to serving others. This initiative highlights the spirit of unity among the 17 PAREF schools—working together as one community, driven by a shared purpose of building a better society.

As we mark our golden anniversary, we look forward not only to celebrating our past, but to actively shaping the future through acts of service, generosity, and love. In the coming months, we will feature each school's contribution to the 50 outreach activities. Each outreach activity to signify each year of existence of PAREF in the country.

Together, let us continue to make an impact—one spirit of service, one community, one life at a time.

Ash Wednesday

“Coming closer to God means being ready to be converted anew, to change direction again, to listen attentively to his inspiration - those holy desires he places in our souls - and to put them into practice.”

LENT is a beautiful time to remind every PAREF family to slow down, reflect, and grow together in the faith. 💜

Through PRAYER, we strengthen our relationship with God.
Through FASTING, we learn sacrifice and self-mastery.
Through ALMSGIVING, we share our blessings and love with others.

May this Lenten season shape our hearts, homes and schools to become places of prayer, sacrifice and generosity.

Our Story

PHILOSOPHY

PAREF Preschools offer a Personal Integral Education to their students, in close collaboration with the home. Through its unique mentoring program and by working closely with the parents, each PAREF Preschool aims to help students become responsible persons capable of acting freely out of love for God and others. At the same time, PAREF education seeks to address the whole person by helping students reach the peak of academic excellence as they strive to grow in virtue.

HOME-SCHOOL COLLABORATION

An important feature of PAREF Preschools is the mentoring given to each child and his or her parents. Each child is assigned a mentor as a means of personal guidance and formation in standards of learning and behavior, relations with peers and superiors, and management of emotions, difficulties, and the other challenges of growing up. This mentor will be with him or her throughout the entire stay at the preschool ensuring a deeper, more realistic and relevant support to the child.

“Mentoring chats” between parent and mentors occur three times a year. This is where the child’s academic progress is discussed. But what sets these chats apart is the emphasis given to the virtues and values that the child is able to learn and practice in school and at home. Action plans are drawn, reviewed and modified accordingly through the course of the school year.
