Join us for two afternoons of skill-building sessions designed for young writers, campus journalists, and creatives! The first day begins with a plenary session, followed by hands-on workshops in designated rooms.

𝐒𝐏𝐓𝐀, 𝐔𝐍𝐎𝐃𝐂 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), conducted the Strong Families Program today, September 6, 2025.

The activity aimed to strengthen relationships between parents and students by fostering open communication, mutual understanding, and stronger family bonds.

In support of the initiative, Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HPTA) officers from the Senior High School participated in the program.

Their involvement showed the importance of collaborative efforts between parents, teachers, and the community in nurturing learners.

Today, we celebrated the talent, dedication, and creativity of our campus journalists and aspiring student writers during the Awarding Program of the 2025 School Press Conference and Contest. 📰✍️

Congratulations to all the winners and participants who showcased their skills in both individual and group categories. Your passion for truth and responsible communication truly inspires us. 🌟

We are truly thankful for the unwavering support of my Editorial Board staff, our top editors and all campus journalists.

We also sincerely thank our teacher evaluators, Ma’am Christlie Rose Reyes Nicolas and Ma’am Ny Qui, Serdrick Mariano, and friends who kindly served as evaluators.

This program would not have been possible without the support of our Head Teacher, Ma’am Vicky Navallo, and our school principal, Ma’am Merian Dizon. A special thanks also to Ma’am Belinda Llagas Ulep for gracing our awarding program with your presence.

The San Roque National High School Press Conference and Contest, held from August 11 to 14, 2025, and August 18, 2025, brought out the talents among the students from each grade level.

The competition featured a variety of individual categories, such as News Writing, Column Writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing, Science and Technology Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Sports Writing, Copyreading and Headlining, and Mobile Journalism. Group categories such as TV Broadcasting and Radiobroadcasting were also conducted.

Each contest served as an opportunity for growth and improvement for students of San Roque National High School. From the individual categories to the group categories, each contest showcased the student journalists' skills, as well as their teamwork and commitment. ✍🏻🗞️🎤

We are beyond grateful for the overflowing support from students, teachers, school staff, and to the parents of our dear student journalists. This year's School Press Conference and Contest was truly memorable and meaningful for everyone! 📷📰

✨🚪 The door is 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣! 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘤𝘩é'𝘴 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 held its opening program on August 13, 2025 at San Roque National High School. The program was filled with student journalists who were ready to shine and show their passion towards writing and storytelling.

This event aims to showcase the journalistic talents of our young student writers and broadcasters through a series of competitions and learning sessions. Participants will engage in various categories such as news writing, feature writing, photojournalism, editorial cartooning, radio and TV broadcasting, and more.
