St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina proudly congratulates Aretha Cai Faustine M. Sy (Grade 11 – St. Blandina) for her outstanding achievement in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) Philippines.

After successfully advancing through the rigorous multi-stage selection process—from the National Eliminations to the Semi-Finals and National Finals—Aretha earned a Certificate of Excellence as a National Finalist, recognizing her performance at the highest national level of the competition.

We are even more proud to share that she has officially qualified for the National Training Pool of IOAI Philippines and has advanced to Stage 4: Team Selection Bootcamp, an intensive evaluation of the country’s top finalists. The bootcamp will be held on March 7–8, 2026, where finalists will vie for a spot in the Philippine delegation to the International Finals in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The IOAI serves as the country’s official pathway to the global stage, showcasing the brightest young minds in Artificial Intelligence.
