The research students from the different programs of OLOPSC College of Business, Management, Science, and Education successfully defended their undergraduate theses during the Scholarly Pursuits: The Research Defense last May 16 and 19, 2026, from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM at the Multi-Purpose Hall & Rooms 201–204, NewGen Building.
More than a culmination of academic requirements, the event served as a celebration of perseverance, critical inquiry, and scholarly excellence. Through months of dedication, collaboration, and research, the students demonstrated their readiness to contribute meaningful knowledge and innovative ideas to their respective fields.
Congratulations to all student-researchers, advisers, and panelists for this remarkable achievement. Your hard work and commitment to academic excellence continue to inspire the OLOPSC community. 🤍✨

𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐬!

On May 14, 2026, Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College proudly launched the College of Business, Management, Science, and Education at the New Gen Building. The event also introduced the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a timely program addressing the growing need for mental health professionals in the country.

The celebration was graced by Marikina City Mayor Hon. Marjorie “Maan” Teodoro, local officials, CHED representatives, educators, alumni, and the OLOPSC community. Led by President Dr. Armida Salvador Samaniego and Executive Director Dr. Marita R. Canapi, this milestone reflects OLOPSC’s commitment to high-quality, innovative, and values-driven education for Marikeños and neighboring communities.

To support aspiring psychologists, OLOPSC also offers a specialized scholarship program for qualified BS Psychology students. A new chapter begins—one that promises opportunity, innovation, and excellence!

OLOPSC is expanding its horizons under the banner of the new College of Business, Management, Science and Education (BMSE).

Last May 14, 2026, Inside Marikina joined the grand unveiling of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (BMSE) at the Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College Marikina New Gen Building.

Alongside this launch, the institution formally introduced its newest program, the BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY, backed by an official permit from CHED-NCR.

Spearheaded by OLOPSC President Dr. Armida Salvador Samaniego and Executive Director Dr. Marita R. Canapi, this expansion is part of the school's commitment to establish a DISTINCT, HIGH-QUALITY brand of higher education for Marikeños and neighboring communities.

The introduction of the BS Psychology program comes at a crucial time, addressing the critical shortage of mental health professionals in the country.

To encourage and support aspiring professionals in this vital field, OLOPSC is also offering a specialized Scholarship Program for qualified BS Psychology students. Details can be found in the comments section.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗖 - 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦𝗘) yesterday, May 14, 2026 at the Multi-purpose Hall of the New Gen Bldg. marked a significant milestone in the continuing transformation and strengthening of higher education at Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College.

The event also featured the formal introduction of a new program, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology — another step forward in expanding opportunities for future learners and professionals.

The celebration was graced by the Marikina City Mayor, the Hon. Marjorie Ann Teodoro, representatives from Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, LGU officials, the OLOPSC Parent-Teacher Association, officers of Marikina Private Schools Association, OLOPSC Alumni Officers, representatives from different schools and the OLOPSC community.

More than a rebranding, the launching reflects OLOPSC’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, sustainability leadership, and the formation of globally competent and values-driven future professionals.
