Lion's, we serve! 🦁
The collaborative spirit of the Marikina Polytechnic College Campus Lions Club (MPC-CLC), the RP-Japan Doctors, and our esteemed mother club, the Marikina City Lions Club, culminated in a resounding success at today's medical mission, 'A Gift of Health: Sharing Expertise and Care.'
Together, we provided comprehensive healthcare services to our community, including dental extractions, ultrasounds for expectant mothers, vision screenings with free reading glasses, and essential vitamins and medications for children, adults, and especially our senior citizens. Through the unwavering dedication and service of Lions Clubs International, we were privileged to serve 1,290 patients, dispensing vital medications as prescribed by our dedicated medical professionals. Beyond medical care, we extended our outreach to 200 elementary school children, engaging them in joyful activities like balloon artistry and arts and crafts, while providing refreshments.
The MPC-CLC team expertly managed the registration area, ensuring a smooth and organized flow for all patients. With a special focus on prioritizing our senior citizens, we created a welcoming and efficient experience. We embraced the challenge of accommodating walk-in patients, demonstrating our commitment to serving everyone in need
This mission served as a powerful reminder to the MPC-CLC that even as student leaders, we can make a significant impact. Despite lacking extensive resources, our collective passion for service enabled us to bring tangible benefits to our community, proving that love and dedication are the most powerful tools of all.💛💜
