On 06 April 2026, C/COL JHERWIN C JERESANO 1CL represented the PLMAR ROTC Unit as he took part in the Philippine Army Sunrise Ceremony and Wreath-Laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Libingan ng mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, in observance of the 84th Philippine Veterans’ Week.

Held at dawn, the ceremony served as a solemn tribute to the courage and sacrifices of Filipino veterans. Through his participation, he exemplified discipline, leadership, and deep respect for the nation’s heroes.

Today, we celebrate the Day of Valor honoring the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who fought for our freedom. Their bravery reminds us that true heroism lives on through our actions and choices.

May we carry their legacy in our hearts by standing for what is right, showing strength in times of challenge, and serving our nation with pride.

Today, we reflect on the depth of His love a love willing to endure everything so that we may find light even in our darkest moments. May this day strengthen our faith and renew our spirit.

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐏𝐋𝐌𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

On 29 March 2026, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 15th Training Day, highlighted by the administration of the final examination where cadets demonstrated discipline, focus, and academic preparedness.

The day culminated in a formal Closing and Turnover Ceremony, featuring recognition, final remarks, and the transition of responsibilities—reflecting the unit’s commitment to leadership, continuity, and excellence.

The day concluded with the orderly dismissal of cadets and inspection of the training area, upholding standards of cleanliness, discipline, and teamwork.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to our NSTP Director, Dr. Eduardo M. Aguilar, for his continuous support. We also extend our recognition to our Commandant, MAJ JENNYLYN S TAMACAY (ART) PA, our Assistant Commandant MAJ IAN JUSTIN P SAGARIO (INF) PA, and our Admin NCO, Cpl Joanna Marie O Nocos (Inf) PA, for their dedicated leadership and guidance during the training.
