๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿง  Building a Safer and More Inclusive OLOPSC Community ๐Ÿคโœจ

Last July 28 and July 30, 2026, the OLOPSC Guidance Office, through the Committee on Gender and Neurodiversity Inclusivity, in collaboration with the Peer Facilitators Organization, successfully conducted the first Peer Group Discussion for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 entitled โ€œSOGIESC 101 and Neurodiversity 101.โ€ ๐ŸŒฑ

The discussions provided students with a safe and meaningful space to learn more about sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and neurodiversity. Through open conversations and shared learning, the activity aimed to promote awareness, understanding, respect, and acceptance among OLOPSCians. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Together, we continue to create a community where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to belong. ๐ŸŒˆโœจ

Last Friday, our Guidance Office had the opportunity to deepen our knowledge and skills in Expressive Arts in Guidance and Counseling through an enriching training facilitated by Childfam Possibilities Psychological Services.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sir Pagu and Ms. Sarah for generously sharing their expertise, practical insights, and passion for using expressive arts as a meaningful approach to supporting students' mental health and well-being.

As the Guidance Office remains committed to providing holistic, responsive, and student-centered services, we continue to explore evidence-informed approaches that help learners express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in safe and creative ways.

We are excited to integrate what we've learned into our guidance programs this school year.

Nothing is always the same ๐Ÿชž -- especially people. We're all unique parts of one big puzzle, which is the vast world around us ๐Ÿ’œ. Uniqueness, creativity, innovation, and so much more. Those are the jigsaw pieces falling into place; building the picture of harmony in society. โ™พ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ญ
