Last August 8,2026(Saturday).
Despite the heavy rains, cancellation of classes in Marikina, our event still pushed through at the Marikina Convention Center. It was like โ€œBAHALA NAโ€ time for us as singers/performers. One of our singers (CHLOE LIANNE) still travelled for two hours all the way from Montalban Rizal kahit ayaw payagan ng parents nung umpisa. I got so worried for her and to my other singers lalo na nung pauwi na sya at nag angkas na lang kahit madulas malakas pa rin ang ulan.
My singers were already in the venue as early as 2pm. The program was supposed to start at 5pm but it started almost 7pm. Nakakatakot ang sitwasyon.
Sa awa ko, sa sakripisyo nila, pinakain ko sila sa Qizia Cafe which is very near the venue lalo na pahirapan sa pag uwi. They deserve it. Iba yung effort nung araw na ito dahil we prepared a lot, rehearsed a lot, para suungin ang bagyo. Chloe got home past 12midnight. Noella from Silangan San Mateo had a hard time too. Vera from Tumana got so worried dahil baha na sa lugar nila at di na sya nakakain kasama kami at umuwi agad. Lahat kami, worried lalo na sa pag uwi.

Thank you so much for always guiding us, pushing us to hit those high notes, and making every single practice and performance so memorable. But honestly, most of all, thank you for making sure our stomachs (and hearts!) are always full after every event. Choir life is so much better with you leading us!

Last August 3,2026 (Monday)
on our participation at the flag ceremony and first celebration of Buwan ng Wika. We sang a folk song, MAY IBONG KAKANTA KANTA composed by A. Villanueva and National Artist for Music Mr. Levi Celerio who plays music using a leaf.

It was my 2nd day after being discharged from my 5 days confinement at the SDS Hospital due to pneumonia and asthma exacerbation.
I was still a bit weak but I just canโ€™t let myself be at home to really recuperate from sickness. I chose to see my singers and accompany them.
As we artist always say, the show must go on. Thank God, we did well.
