The Parang High School Scouting Movement successfully conducted its Orientation Activity, marking the start of another meaningful year of leadership, service, and growth.
The orientation introduced both new and returning Scouts to the rich history of the Scouting Movement, founded by Lord Robert Baden-Powell in 1907. Participants learned about the vision and mission of Scouting, the Scout Oath and Law, and the values that continue to guide millions of Scouts around the world.
The activity also introduced our Scouts to the dedicated individuals who will lead and support the movement throughout the year, including our Institutional Representative, Scouting Coordinator and Outfit Leader. Their guidance and commitment inspire every Scout to grow into responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented leaders.
In addition, the orientation provided an overview of the Scouting program, upcoming activities, and the different Scout ranksโExplorer, Pathfinder, Outdoor Scout, and Venturerโencouraging every member to actively participate, develop their skills, and continue striving toward higher achievements in their Scouting journey.
