The term of the 2025โ€“2026 Regional Federation of Supreme Secondary Learner Government (RFSSLG) may have been cut short, but the multitude of voices amplified was not defined by the limited time we shared. Leaders from all parts of the region transcended their differences and collaborated as one for a stronger Rehiyon Diyes.

We, in the Regional Federation, are blessed to have experienced the faith that served as the quiet force behind every success, the unseen wind beneath every initiative that gave voice, strength, and direction to the entire region. Because of you, what we built was never ours alone; it became a collective triumph shaped by many hands and united by one vision.

Muli, maraming salamat sa inyong walang tigil na pagsuporta sa ating mga mag-aaral ng Rehiyon Diyes. Patuloy kaming magseserbisyo para sa Kabataang Pilipino.

Sa huling pagkakataon, we, the RFSSLG Batch 2025โ€“2026, say:

DepEd Oroquieta stands united in Championing Interagency Collaboration for the Protection of Children and Women within our Oroquietanon Community.
September 5-6, 2023, Oroquieta City

In a heartwarming display of community commitment, Oroquieta City's Department of Education (DepEd) sector, in conjunction with the Division Federated Presidents of the Learner Government from Oroquieta City Elementary and High School, actively participated in the Local Council for the Protection of Children and Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children Seminar Workshop. This event took place at Costa Del Sol, Oroquieta City, on September 5-6, 2023.

The two-day seminar workshop served as a platform for delving deeply into critical issues concerning child protection and the eradication of violence against women and children. With a profound focus on Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) and the intricacies of family therapy, participants left with a wealth of knowledge and practical tools to address these sensitive topics with confidence.

Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA): The seminar illuminated the path to recognizing, preventing, and addressing CSEA cases within our community. It provided a comprehensive understanding of the signs, preventive measures, and avenues for intervention, equipping us with the skills needed to protect our most vulnerable members.
Family Therapy: Within the workshop, the complex world of family therapy also unfolded. It offered insights into how these therapeutic approaches can play a vital role in the healing and rehabilitation of those affected by these challenges.

As the seminar workshop commenced, one of the most significant takeaways was the emphasis on interagency collaboration. This event was not just an ordinary occurrence; rather, it emerged as a unifying force in Oroquieta City. It rallied our community around the vital causes of education, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our city's most cherished members.

Looking Ahead:
As participants in this transformative event, we wish to express our deep gratitude for this invaluable opportunity. Our gratitude goes beyond words, for we have emerged not only with knowledge but also with the skills and empathy needed to actively contribute to our community's mission of safeguarding the rights and well-being of children and women.
Together, as a united Oroquietanon community empowered by knowledge and driven by gratitude, we move forward, fully aware that we can create a safer and brighter future for all. Our commitment to these vital causes remains steadfast as we continue this journey of empowerment and enlightenment.
