PRESBYTERIAN CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
MEMORANDUM

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION POLICY FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Date: September 30, 2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings!

To ensure that communication between the school and parents/guardians remains organized, professional, and properly documented, the school will be implementing the following communication policy effective immediately:

1. Discontinuation of Teacher-to-Parent Messenger Communication and Parent Group Chats

The school will no longer use Messenger for teacher-to-parent communication. The use of Messenger group chats and other unofficial group chats for school-related concerns, announcements, and inquiries will also be discontinued.

All official announcements and concerns from the school will be communicated through a formal letter. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to refrain from using Messenger or other group chats as a means of communicating concerns regarding learners, teachers, schedules, payments, or other school matters.

2. Official Communication Channels

For inquiries and concerns, parents and guardians may contact the school through:

Email:
[email protected]

Phone Number:
09678627036

Please povide the learner’s complete name, grade level, and a clear description of the concern when sending an email or making an inquiry.

3. Processing and Response Time

All concerns and inquiries submitted through the official communication channels will be properly reviewed and addressed by the appropriate school personnel.

Parents and guardians are kindly requested to allow 2–3 working days for the school to respond, depending on the nature and complexity of the concern.

4. Personal and Urgent Concerns

For concerns that require personal discussion, clarification, or immediate attention regarding your child, parents and guardians are encouraged to proceed directly to the school office during office hours.

This will allow the school to properly document, discuss, and address the concern with the appropriate personnel.

We respectfully ask for everyone’s cooperation, patience, and understanding as we implement this policy. This measure is intended to promote clear communication, maintain professionalism, protect the privacy of our learners and staff, and ensure that concerns are addressed through the proper channels.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support of Presbyterian Christian Academy.

Respectfully,

Charis Joy P. Lomansoc, LPT

Sunday morning with young children could be messy, noisy, and challenging, but still do come.

If your kids are loud, please still come to church.
If you’re running late because getting everyone out the door was a battle, please still come to church.
If your toddler won’t sit still, please still come to church.
If your baby needs to eat, please still come to church.
If your child asks questions at the least convenient time, please still come to church.
If someone cries, drops a toy, needs a snack, or has to make their third trip to the bathroom, please still come to church.
If your child doesn’t know all the words, all the prayers, or exactly when to sit and stand, please still come to church.
If you feel like you spent the entire service managing your children and heard approximately 12% of the sermon, please still come to church.
If Sunday morning feels messy instead of peaceful, please still come to church.
If you’re worried your children are distracting the people around you, please still come to church.

Because children do not learn how to be part of the Church by staying home until they can sit quietly.

They learn by being here.
They learn the singing by hearing us sing.
They learn the prayers by hearing us pray.
They learn to worship by watching us worship.
They learn that church is home because we make room for them here.

The wiggles, whispers, dropped crayons, crying babies, and little voices are not interruptions to the life of the Church.

They are evidence that the Church is alive.

So bring the babies. Bring the toddlers. Bring the big kids. Come late. Sit in the back. Sit in the front. Step out when you need to and come right back in.

Just come. Even if it's messy, late, or a roller coaster of emotions, yet it would still be worth it.

Sunday worship makes sense only if you understand that you were made for relationship with God, that by instinct and design you are a worshiper, and that because of sin, your heart will chase after created pleasures that promise life and freedom but fail to satisfy.

Talk to your children about their need, their weakness, and their dependency. Contrast those qualities with a society that encourages independence and isolation. Teach them about the beautiful reminders Sunday worship provides. And by grace, may they grow excited about communing with God and the believers every week!

Jump and Sort: Vowels A, E, and I

Our Nursery learners enjoyed a fun “Jump and Sort” activity featuring the vowels A, E, and I.

We have two nonverbal learners who were able to identify the vowels and participated well in the activity. It was a little messy, but that’s all part of the learning process!

To conclude our Nutrition Month celebration, we held a Healthy Baon Challenge for our learners. 🥗🍎

We are truly grateful to all our parents and guardians who enthusiastically prepared nutritious, balanced, and colorful baon for their children. Your love, effort, and support made this activity meaningful and successful.

We hope this challenge inspires every family to continue packing healthy baon every school day, helping our children develop lifelong healthy eating habits. Together, let us raise children who are healthy, happy, and ready to learn.

Thank you for your unwavering support, Parents and Guardians! 💚

PCA Sunday

Nowadays, we often hear heartbreaking news about children being bullied, physically hurt, or placed in unsafe situations at school. As parents and educators, nothing is more important than ensuring that every child feels safe, protected, and valued.

At Presbyterian Christian Academy, we are committed to providing a secure, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment where every learner can grow with confidence. However, we also recognize that we cannot control everything that is happening around us. That is why we continually seek God’s guidance, intervention, and divine protection over our children. Today, we call out our children in prayer, believing and declaring that they are covered and prayed over. Because in God, nothing is impossible. We believe that children learn best when they feel loved, respected, and protected. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to closely supervising our learners, promoting kindness and respect, and addressing concerns promptly and appropriately.

We also encourage parents and guardians to work hand in hand with us by teaching children empathy, respect, and responsible behavior both at home and in school. Together, we can create a community where bullying has no place and where every child is treated with dignity and compassion.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Let us continue to pray for God’s guidance and protection over all our children, teachers, and families as we strive to build a school where every learner is safe, happy, and inspired to reach their God-given potential.
