In Celebration to Christmas, SSLG proposed a Christmas Lantern and Christmas Tree Making Contest out of recycled materials (papers, plastic bottles, Etc) and indigenous materials respectively. Thank you our dear students and teachers for being creative and resourceful. Awarding of winners will be on December 11, 2023 after our Flag Raising Ceremony.

As part of the 2023 Canili Area National High School Christmas Celebration, the SSLG Officers has proposed a School Based Lantern and Christmas Tree Making Contest out of recyclable materials and indigenous materials respectively. This proposal was duly approved by our School Head, Ma'am Joan Gutierrez prior to Regional Memo on the 12 Days of Christmas, indicating that Paper Parol Making will be made in celebration on the 6th Day of Christmas on day 4 of the 12 days of Christmas. But in compliance to Paper Parol Making of the said memo and not to waste our recycled lantern, we've made use of some papers in the designs of our lanterns.

Thank you our dear students and teachers who have made these creative recycled parol/lanterns. Merry Christmas to everyone!
