This study analyzed the chemical composition of fish poison tree (Barringtonia asiatica) seeds using phytochemical screening and GC-MS. The findings confirm the presence of compounds such as saponins, alkaloids, and vitamin E that are linked to biopesticidal activity and potential medicinal use. The study suggests further development of these seeds as a natural pesticide and exploration of their pharmaceutical applications.
