Alhamdulillah! In celebration of World Mental Health Month, a meaningful and inspiring Mental Health Talk was successfully conducted at Sultan Langco MNHS, led by our School Guidance Advocate, Aleah P. Panolong Aleah P. Panolong

The session focused on stress management, self-care, and faith-based coping, helping our junior high school students understand the importance of nurturing both their mental and spiritual well-being.

Through mindfulness activities, reflection, and open sharing, students were reminded that true strength begins within, through calmness, gratitude, and trust in Allah (SWT).

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers, our School Reading Coordinator Omelhaya S. Diamaoden Omel Haya for her insightful discussion on stress and self-care, and to one of our ISAL teachers Ustadz Misuari Camad Darainon-Diongal for sharing his enlightening message on mental health in the Islamic perspective.

Your words have inspired our students to take care not only of their minds, but also their hearts and faith.

Together, we continue to build a school community that promotes compassion, resilience, and wellness for every learner.

The Division of Lanao del Sur II, under the leadership of Schools Division
Superintendent Dr. Anna Zenaida Unte-Alonto, commemorated International Peace Day on September 21, 2025, with a Peace and Leadership Summit for SELG and SSLG leaders, alongside a Peace Mural Painting Competition at the Malabang Torogan Gymnasium.

The summit gathered young student leaders to reflect on the role of peace and leadership, while the mural competition highlighted the artistic talents of student and teacher artists from various municipalities. Each artwork carried powerful messages of harmony, unity, and hope.

The successful conduct of the event was facilitated by Peace Education Focal Person, EPS Aquil Andog, with the support of division officials and school leaders.

The two-day Campus Journalism Municipal-Based Workshop was participated in by selected students from both public and private schools of Butig District on September 10-11, 2025 held in the SB Session Hall of the Municipal Hall of Butig, Lanao del Sur. We sincerely extend our gratitude to PSDS Dr. MB for the privilege and rare opportunity granted to our students to enhance their skills, broaden their knowledge, and nurture their passion for journalism. We also take pride and extend our thanks to our two teachers Omel Haya&Aleah P. Panolongwho served as part of the lecturers in this event, sharing their expertise and guiding the participants. Truly, this training serves as a stepping stone for molding future campus journalists and leaders in the field of communication.

Congratulations to these two outstanding students, one now graduating as Cum Laude and the other as an awardee!
During their time with us amidst the Marawi siege they already stood out as brilliant and promising learners. Though they were with us only for a year, we are deeply proud of how far they’ve come. Your success will always be part of our school’s story. Once our students, always our pride♥️

Sultan Langco NHS proudly celebrated Nutrition Day with fun and meaningful competitions that promoted wellness, creativity, and teamwork!

From the mind-stretching Nutrition Quiz Bee , to the flavorful Cooking and Healthy Recipe Contests, creative food carving, eye-catching poster making, and mouthwatering Food Displays. Our students showcased not only talent, but also their growing awareness of the value of healthy living.

Kudos to all the participants and winners! Let’s continue to choose health every day—because a healthy student is a better learner. 💚

Snapshots from the first PTCA Meeting and Orientation of Sultan Langco MNHS for School Year 2025-2026, where parents, teachers, and school leaders gathered with a shared goal which is to support student success.

A special thank you to all the hardworking teachers and staff who guided and facilitated the entire process, from the preparation of the Meeting de Avance, to the election proper, canvassing, and the final proclamation of winners. Your commitment made this student-led democratic process meaningful and successful.
