𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞!

اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ لا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلّٰهِ الحَمْدُ

Glorify Allah with the utterance of 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙧, so that your praises soften and touch the hearts of all creation. Glorify Him, so that your glorification reaches the boundaries of the skies. Glorify Him, for indeed, Allah is Magnificent, worthy of absolute commendation.

𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙠 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙀𝙞𝙙 𝙖𝙡-𝘼𝙙𝙝𝙖 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮. 𝙒𝙖 𝙠𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙪 ‘ā𝙢 𝙬𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙢 𝙗𝙞𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙧!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 | ‘Īd Al-Fițr Al-Mubārak 🌙

﴿وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ﴾
“𝘈𝘯𝘥 (𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶) 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘥 (𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨), 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘮 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩'𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 (𝘰𝘯 𝘐𝘥 𝘶𝘭-𝘍𝘪𝘵𝘳) 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭.” (2:185)

‘𝐈̄𝐝 𝐚𝐥-𝐅𝐢𝐭̦𝐫 marks the conclusion of a major act of worship during the blessed day of Ramaďān, and this day also shows our true desire to continue in obedience and submission to Allah ﷻ.

But have we ever wondered what is the essence of our celebration? True ‘Īd is found when happiness radiates through our smiles and greetings, and when we multiply our good deeds by bringing joy to the hearts of others and supporting the needy.

Thus, during this day of joy, we must be keen on asking ourselves—what joy is found in the heart that refuses a greeting, a handshake, and a smile? What ‘Īd persists for the one who have abandoned his family and his brothers, neither visiting them nor forgiving them?

As Ramaďān departs, we too must leave behind the negativity that taints our hearts and our connections, let the greatness of Allah ﷻ overcome it, and celebrate while mirroring His greatness in our own hearts.

𝘼𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧, 𝙡ā 𝙞𝙡ā𝙝𝙖 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝘼𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧, 𝘼𝙡𝙡ā𝙝𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙪 𝙬𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙙

This blessed day is beyond a celebration that marks a conclusion. It is the day for competing souls to be purified, for estranged hearts to reconcile, for broken ties to be restored and strongly intertwined together, and for sincere greetings and prayers to be spread among the Ummah.

‘Īdukum Mubārak! Taqabballāhu minnā wa minkum ‘sālihal-a’māl.

"𝘈 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘳’𝘢𝘯: 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘳’𝘢𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳." (Ibn Katheer, Fadā-il Al-Qur-ān | 6)

As the 𝐐𝐮𝐫-ā𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏𝟒𝟒𝟕 closed its doors, we look back on an afternoon when the resonance of the Divine Words reached its peak. The atmosphere was not just filled with melody; it was filled with the heartbeat of a community returning to its ultimate source of peace.

From the powerful opening rounds to the final, heartwarming iftar meal together, this journey has transcended competition. It has been a living archive of our love for the Words of Allah. We hope the echoes of these voices and the heartwarming experience we crafted in service of the Qur-ān remain in our hearts, much like the 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 of our elders.

We extend our sincere greetings and prayers for continued blessings to our participants and winners. To those dedicated to the service of the Words of Allah—the organizers, respected judges, our MSU System President, Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, our esteemed professors, and every attendee—you did not just witness an event, you helped build a 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮. We began this day seeking a 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝, and we depart with hearts renewed and our intentions set deeper.

May Allah—the Most Generous, the Beneficent Bestower of bounties—reward everyone involved and make this humble service a heavyweight on our scales of good deeds and a testament of our love to Him. May He ﷻ count us all among the 𝘼𝙝𝙡𝙪𝙡-𝙌𝙪𝙧-ā𝙣 and make us gather in the highest of heavens like how we gathered today.
