โ€œPracticum Goes Beyond Minimum Complianceโ€

The true essence of practicum is not merely complying academic requirements but it is about creating meaningful and lasting change in communities.

We proudly recognize two Bachelor of Science in Community Development practicum students assigned in Tangub City who demonstrated exceptional commitment to community empowerment and sustainable development.

โœจ Ms. Hazzel Tubiano Mondonedo facilitated the implementation of the Barangay San Antonio Womenโ€™s Associationโ€™s hog-raising project by successfully mobilizing funding from the Barangayโ€™s GAD Fund amounting to 15,000 pesos. She facilitated capacity-building training on hog raising and facilitated the procurement of three piglets for the project. Going beyond her course requirements, she also assisted the association in preparing and submitting a โ‚ฑ300,000 pesos project proposal to DOLE for project expansion. On June 11, 2026, the association officially received its approved project from DOLE. The implementation of the project is a remarkable milestone for the organization and the community.

โœจ Mr. Johar P. Mesug likewise demonstrated outstanding initiative by facilitating the implementation of the Coco Sugar Production Project of the Barangay Paiton Out-of-School Youth Organization. Recognizing the potential for growth and sustainability, he further assisted the organization in developing and submitting a project proposal to DOLE for a Frozen Products and Convenience Store Enterprise amounting to 250,000 pesos which the organization had received it on June 11, 2026.

These achievements exemplify what it means to be genuine change agentsโ€”individuals who not only identify community needs but also mobilize resources, build partnerships, and empower people toward self-reliance and development.

Your dedication, passion, and commitment to community transformation embody the ideals of Community Development. We are proud of your accomplishments and the positive impact you have created in the communities you serve.
