Alhamdulillah for a meaningful and memorable gathering of unity, leadership, and renewed commitment at the Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia – Graduate School Department Acquaintance Party and Induction of the Graduate School Student Organization (GSSO) Officers.

The event was graced by our distinguished guest, Dr. Rubina Mimbantas Macabunar, Schools Division Superintendent of Lanao del Sur I, whose wisdom-filled message deeply inspired everyone present. With grace and authority, she personally administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected GSSO officers, a powerful reminder that leadership is both a privilege and an amanah (trust) from Allah. We are sincerely grateful, Dr. Rubina, for sharing your time, guidance, and motherly encouragement with our graduate scholars.

BENCHMARKING ACTIVITY SUCCESS 💫✨

The Graduate School Department of Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia (JPI) successfully conducted its Benchmarking Activity at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and MSU Lanao College of Arts and Trades (MSU-LNCAT)—a meaningful journey of learning grounded in service, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

Through this academic engagement, graduate students were given the opportunity to learn from real-world practices in disaster resilience, leadership, governance, and educational management, reinforcing the value of knowledge that serves communities and strengthens institutions. Beyond observation, the activity cultivated reflection, humility, and a deeper commitment to evidence-based and compassionate public service.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL GRADUATE SCHOOL STUDENTS, FACULTIES AND THE GSSO ADVISER

Please be informed that the Office of the Dean has issued an official memorandum dated December 2, 2025, regarding the Election of Graduate School Student Organization (GSSO) Officers.

The memo highlights that the election is being held earlier than the originally set schedule. In line with this, all concerned are reminded to strictly observe the proper protocols and procedures to ensure that only committed and genuinely interested students are elected to serve the Graduate School community and the Jamiat.

As per the guidance of the Dean and the request of the incumbent officers, the following dates have been finalized:

🔸 General Assembly, Filing of Candidacy, and Campaign Period:
December 5, 2025 (Friday)

🔸 Election Day:
December 6, 2025 (Saturday)

The organizing committee is tasked to ensure an orderly, peaceful, and transparent election, upholding the secrecy and integrity of the ballot at all times.

All Graduate School Students are required to attend the General Assembly and to participate in the election. Attendance will be checked.

Alhamdulillah! Yesterday’s seminar, “Nurturing Minds and Guiding Hearts: Harmonizing Curriculum, Counseling, and Islamic Educational Values in the Modern Era,” was indeed a resounding success — a day filled with wisdom, inspiration, and heartfelt learning.

Our deepest gratitude to our esteemed guest speakers, Sheikh Aleem Zacariya Candao and Dr. Rohanie M. Sultan, PhD, RGC, LPT, for sharing their invaluable insights and for reminding us that true education transcends the mind — it touches the soul. Your words inspired us to approach teaching, counseling, and leadership with compassion, faith, and purpose.

Appreciation to Mr. Hayyan Dumaraya of the Bangsamoro Sports Commission for his presence and his inspiring words.
