The Chemical Engineering Students’ Society (ChESS) formally announces the appointment of the Election Committee for AY 2026–2027. In the same issuance, Memorandum No. 2025-003 has been revoked in order to ensure proper electoral administration and organizational continuity.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄!

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀)

All candidates must:
1. Be a bonafide Chemical Engineering student of MSU-Marawi.
2. Submit the following documents personally:
o Completed Certificate of Candidacy
o Evaluation sheet and Certificate of Registration for the current semester
o Department Fee Receipt for 2nd semester A.Y. 2025-2026
o 2x2 ID Picture

The Chemical Engineering Students' Society Commission on Elections successfully held its 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 and 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲 ratifying the amended Constitution and By-Laws on May 3 at the Chemical Engineering Department.

The event brought together students from all year levels to select new leaders who will represent and guide the society in the coming academic year.

The voting process proceeded smoothly, reflecting the students’ commitment to active participation in their organization’s future.

The newly elected officers will assume their roles at the start of the next academic year, with formal induction ceremonies planned in the coming weeks. The society extends its gratitude to the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and looks forward to a vibrant year ahead under new leadership.

The Commission on Elections of Chemical Engineering Students’ Society proudly presents the official and final results of the ChELection 2025 held on May 3, 2025.

A total of 17 candidates have been duly elected to serve the Chemical Engineering Students’ Society for A.Y. 2025–2026.

The Amended Constitution and By-Laws has also been ratified by majority vote and shall take immediate effect.

We look forward to a new term of empowered leadership and continued service to the ChESS community

Roles & Responsibilities of the Election Committee Members (as stated in the official memorandum):
• Assisting in the promulgation of rules and regulations for the conduct of the election.
• Assisting in the supervision of the conduct of elections and the proclamation of winning candidates.
• Helping prepares a report of the election
• Act as judges of the election.

The Election Commissioner, according to the Section 3.3.1, Article VII of the Constitution and by-Laws of the Chemical Engineering Students’ Society, shall:

• promulgate rules and regulations in the conduct of the election;
• supervise the conduct of elections and proclaim the winning candidate;
• shall be responsible for preparing a report of the election;
• shall be the judge of the election in consultation with the members of the election committee.
