04 May 2026 — In a friendly exchange of introductions and platforms, the Miting de Avance for the SOLSS Officers’ Election for A.Y. 2026–2027 was held earlier today at B-119, Ramel Building, gathering nearly all 34 candidates. The event gave the student body a chance to hear each candidate’s platform and directly raise questions on their visions for the society and leadership experiences.

Organized by COMELEC members, the program featured candidate introductions followed by a question-and-answer portion. Students engaged candidates on key concerns, offering a glimpse of how they respond under pressure.

As election day nears, the event served as a quick but meaningful opportunity for voters to get to know the people behind the platforms.

In celebration of Science Day 2026 held on April 22, the Biology Department came alive with a vibrant green aura—echoing the whimsical charm of Finn and Jake’s treehouse, where every corner felt like the beginning of an adventure. The parade came alive as BIO-tifuls cheered loud and proud with “BIO BIO BIO BIO WOOT WOT!" – a resounding call that echoed the spirit of Biology as the life of CNSM.

The recognition of academic listers followed, where students were honored for their hard work and dedication. These are some of the brightest minds of CNSM—our very own BIO-tifuls who continue to strive, excel, and inspire others through their efforts and commitment.

Alongside them, our beloved professors were also recognized for their passion and dedication to their respective fields of expertise. Their guidance, knowledge, and unwavering support continue to shape and inspire students, making them an integral part of the growth and success of the CNSM community.

The SOLSS pop-up booth added a special touch to the celebration, bringing back the feel of a traditional Science Week booth. The day continued with a lunch-out at the golf course, where everyone gathered to relax and share a meal together. It was a simple but meaningful moment to rest, bond, and enjoy each other’s company outside the usual academic setting.

In the afternoon, the Science Seminar took place, providing students with the opportunity to gain insights, learn new ideas, and deepen their understanding of topics within the field of science. It deepened the purpose of the day, reminding everyone that beyond the celebration, learning remains at the heart of what we do.

Science Day 2026 was more than just a one-day event. It was a reflection of the CNSM community—where excellence is pursued, resilience is built, and collaboration brings us together. 💚🤍
