In alignment with the national government's energy efficiency initiatives (Memorandum Circular No. 114 s. 2026) and in honor of the sacred final ten days of Ramadhan—a period of profound spiritual reflection and family for our Muslim community—Mindanao State University - Main Campus, Marawi will observe an 𝑬𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 13 𝒕𝒐 22, 2026. This break allows everyone the opportunity for religious observance, family connection, and encourages responsible energy consumption throughout the campus.

During this time, regular classes and non-essential office operations will be suspended. Essential services shall adopt skeletal workforce arrangements and previously scheduled activities shall continue operations. Normal classes and operations will resume on March 23, 2026.

To All Drivers (Private Vehicles, Motorcycles, Racals, and Pedicabs): Whether you are a resident, student, faculty member, employee, or visitor, adherence to traffic laws is mandatory to maintain the integrity and safety of our institution.

𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁: A maximum of 30 kph is enforced on all campus roads, regardless of pedestrian presence.

𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: Horns, open pipes, and modified mufflers are strictly prohibited to prevent classroom disruption.

𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: Always give way to people crossing. The safety of students and the community is the top priority.

𝗡𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄: One-way streets must be respected at all times, including at night.

Strict adherence to these regulations is paramount, as the campus is daily populated by a significant number of students and young pedestrians frequently crossing the roadways; therefore, the SLOW DOWN policy must be observed at all times, even when the streets appear clear. Maintaining a quiet environment by prohibiting loud horns and speeding ensures that academic sessions remain undisturbed, thereby preserving the quality of the learning experience for all. By practicing consistent compliance, potential pedestrian-related incidents and vehicular collisions will be averted, protecting the safety of our community.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: MSU is a university. Entering the campus with a vehicle is not a right for anyone; it is a PRIVILEGE. This is why there are security guards in place and a vehicle sticker is required.

𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Anyone who violates traffic rules may be subject to appropriate penalties, including being barred from entering or operating a public transport vehicle within the MSU-Main Campus again.

Let us respect the rules for the welfare of the entire MSU community.

In view of the Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Lanao del Sur, classes at all levels are hereby suspended tomorrow, February 23, 2026, to ensure the safety of our students. However, please be informed that all officials and staff are required to report for duty, as administrative operations and essential services shall continue as scheduled. Everyone is advised to stay vigilant, monitor updates, and exercise extreme caution.

From providing expert navigation to ensuring seamless crowd control, our team dedicated their time and energy to serve the graduating seniors of our beloved University.
