February 12, 2026 | The Supreme Student Government (SSG) together with department officers from the Colleges of Agriculture, Information Technology, Education, Forestry, Fisheries, Business Administration, and Criminology gathered at the SLH Building for the much-anticipated Mass Induction Ceremony. Carrying the theme “United in Service, Empowered to Lead,” the event formally installed the newly elected student leaders and signaled the beginning of a year dedicated to cooperation, responsibility, and meaningful campus service.

The program commenced with a warm welcome from Hon. Abdulsalam A. Pascan, SSG President, who conveyed his gratitude to everyone in attendance. He underscored the power of unity and the shared duty of leaders to serve with commitment and accountability, setting an inspiring and hopeful tone for the ceremony.

In her message, State College President Dr. Sherifa Rohanie K. Adiong reminded the officers that genuine leadership goes beyond positions and recognition. She urged them to act with integrity, empathy, and clear purpose, emphasizing that true leaders create lasting and positive change within the academic community.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the newly elected SSG and departmental officers. The oath of office was administered by Dr. Norhaya M. Dipunudun, JD, MPSM, MAELT, who challenged the inductees to remain steadfast in upholding the principles of service, dedication, and transformative leadership.

The introduction of the Guest of Honor, Hon. Mohammad Raiz I. Sirad, paved the way for the keynote address of Hon. Abdul Asmana C. Umpat, SSG Prime Minister of Mindanao State University. The Supreme Student Government (SSG) joined the OGPinas 2026 Nationwide Advocacy Campaign last February 2, 2026, at the Sultan Kudarat Convention Centre in Tacurong City.

SSG President Hon. Abdulsalam A. Pascan and Hon. Mohammad Raiz I. Sirad represented the student body, taking part in the campaign's efforts to raise awareness about open government and foster partnerships between government and civil society. "We aim to be part of promoting open government and giving voice to students," said Pascan, highlighting the SSG's goal to amplify student concerns and advocate for good governance.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: On January 19, 2026, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) successfully hosted the Welcome Back AMSC Lake Knights program, an event designed to bring students together and strengthen the sense of community within the school. Led by SSG President Abdulsalam A. Pascan, the program featured a variety of exciting and interactive activities that filled the campus with energy and enthusiasm.

Students participated in lively parlor games such as Big Volleyball, Sock Race with a Twist, Pabitin Candy, and Plant the Straw (Bottle Challenge), along with an engaging raffle.

These activities not only brought joy and excitement but also encouraged teamwork, camaraderie, and a strong display of school spirit among the participants.

Experts emphasize that activities like these play a vital role in building group cohesiveness and enhancing commitment among members. Similar programs are widely implemented in educational institutions to promote social interaction, teamwork, and the development of students’ interpersonal skills.

The Welcome Back AMSC Lake Knights program also served as a meaningful opportunity for students to reconnect with their classmates and teachers in a fun, vibrant, and welcoming environment.

Through collaborative games and shared experiences, students were able to form new friendships and strengthen existing bonds.

The SSG extends its heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Luis Siddik F. Adiong, SSG Adviser, for his invaluable support, particularly in assisting the team with borrowing the necessary materials and equipment that contributed to the program’s success.

Overall, the Welcome Back AMSC Lake Knights program was a resounding success—one that fostered joy, unity, and a renewed sense of belonging among AMSC

The 2nd Semester, Academic Year 2025–2026 is officially here!

The Supreme Student Government (SSG) welcomed back the AMSC Lake Knights in a campus-wide gathering held on January 19, 2026, at the AMSC Open Gymnasium, marking the opening of a new academic term and the return of a vibrant campus atmosphere. With student leaders, faculty members, and administrators present, the program highlighted unity, leadership, and a renewed commitment to academic excellence. It also served as a reminder of the responsibilities of Lake Knights—to uphold discipline, strive for academic growth, and actively serve both the institution and the community.

To kick off the semester with excitement and camaraderie, students enjoyed a fun-filled day of games and activities, including:
