The Basic Education of the Mindanao State University remains adamant in its desire to gear towards a revamped education system as MATATAG Curriculum began to sprout in the education sector. Maneuvered by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the summit fell into setting, manifesting the common goal of the entire basic education community, aspiring to become the cream of the crop of the university in the delivery of quality basic education.

The summit, on the other hand, was graced by some of the key officials of the university headed by no less than the MSU System President, Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno, the Director General of Basic Education, MBHTE-BARMM, Hon. Abdullah P. Salic, Jr., and the principals of the various participating units of the MSU.

The first day of the summit, moreover, was no less of a triumph filled with insightful ideas and knowledge from our invited plenary speakers, who are acclaimed authors of REX Publishing House. In fact, the success of the summit is implied in the active involvement of the participants in the workshop and Q&A sessions.

In a nutshell, this summit is an evidence of our collective commitment that conforms to the reshaping of our educational paradigm, and we are certain that through this, we do not just learn new trends that come with MATATAG Curriculum but rather, effectuating the complete repertoire of our unity as ONE MSU BASIC EDUCATION community.
