The Pedon, the Official Student Publication of the College of Agriculture, is now accepting applications for new staff members for A.Y. 2026โ2027.
If you have an interest in writing, photography, visual arts, broadcasting, or campus journalism, we invite you to be part of The Pedon. This is an opportunity to develop your skills, gain experience, and contribute to documenting and telling the stories of the College of Agriculture.

โข Opinion Writer

MEDIA AND CREATIVES:
โข Layout Artist
โข Photojournalists
โข Cartoonist
โข Broadcaster
๐ QUALIFICATIONS:
โข Open to 1st Year and 2nd Year COA students
โข Must be officially enrolled in the College of Agriculture
โข Must have an interest or background in their chosen field
โข Must be willing to learn and participate in publication activities
โข Must not be an officer in their department or part of the student council.
๐๏ธ SELECTION PROCESS:
Phase 1: Online Application โ Initial screening of submitted applications and credentials.
Phase 2: Skills Assessment โ Shortlisted applicants will undergo an assessment based on their chosen position. This may include on-the-spot writing, practical photography, layout, cartooning, or other activities relevant to the position applied for.
Phase 3: Final Interview โ Applicants who pass Phase 2 will proceed to an interview with the Editorial Board.
