The event brought together multiple teams of high school and college students from across the region, where wits and knowledge became the driving force of the competition. ‎The Mavens Grand Quiz Show is a nationwide academic competition open to schools, colleges, universities, and organizations across the Philippines, bringing together some of the country’s brightest minds in a series of challenging rounds covering diverse fields such as Mathematics, Science, Literature, History, Politics, Current Events, and Information Technology.

Through the collaboration of the 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐃) of RC-AKICFI Senior High School and the 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫 of RC-AKICFI Science Laboratory School, RC-AKICFI emerged as 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 at the 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (𝐀𝐁𝐂𝐃) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟑 at 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 in 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞. Represented by six students from Grades 10 to 12, the school competed in a series of challenging academic events that tested participants’ knowledge and analytical skills in biology, biodiversity, and agriculture, ultimately securing the overall championship title.

Organized by the Biology 3 scholars and the Biology–Agriculture Unit of the host institution, the event carried the theme “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦: 𝘚𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘪𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦”. ABCD 2026 brought together high school students from various schools across the region to highlight the significance of biodiversity conservation and sustainable agricultural practices in maintaining ecological balance. The program featured two main competitions: the 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥 in the morning and the 𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝 in the afternoon, while coaches attended a seminar on permaculture held alongside the student events. Aside from the competitions, the program also featured informative sessions discussing conservation efforts, environmental challenges, and the importance of protecting ecosystems such as rainforests, which aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the role of biological and agricultural sciences in addressing contemporary environmental issues.

The RC-AKICFI delegation was composed of 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐡 𝐈. 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐥𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐡 𝐀. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫, 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐉𝐫., 𝐓𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐆. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐢 𝐘𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐫 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐧, 𝐉𝐫., whose performance led the school to secure the overall championship title.

Your kindness and willingness to give truly made this humble effort possible.

Because of your support, we were able to buy food for iftar and provide daily essentials for our fellow Muslims in two torils and one masjid in Ramain, Lanao del Sur.Through your generosity, many of our brothers and sisters were able to break their fast with nourishment and comfort.

What may seem like a simple act of giving has brought so much relief and happiness to others.
It also reminded us of the true spirit of Ramadhan, which is a time for compassion, generosity, and caring for one another as one ummah. It is a month where our hearts are softened, where we are reminded to share what Allah has blessed us with, and where even the smallest act of charity carries immense reward. In helping one another, we strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and fulfill the beautiful teaching of Islam to care for those who are in need.

From all of us in SQUAD, thank you for trusting us to be part of this meaningful initiative. Your support allowed this small effort to reach those who needed it most.
