Hello, December!

The City Schools Division of Marawi, headed by SDS Dr. Sahanee M. Sumagayan, officially kicks off the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women today, November 26, 2025.

This program, conducted under the guidance of Division GAD Focal Soraya Titiban, was attended by MCES School Head Aisah T. Solaiman and MCES School GAD Coordinator Hafidah Mustapha, representing Marawi City Elementary School in support of this important advocacy.

Together, we stand in solidarity to raise awareness, promote protection, and champion a community where every woman is valued, respected, and safe.

Let us continue strengthening our commitment to end all forms of violence and foster a culture of compassion and empowerment.

Marawi City Elementary School held its Midyear Recognition Day on November 20, 2025.

Recognizing the academic achievements of our learners has always been one of the top priorities of our school. This celebration highlights the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of our young learners, as well as the unwavering support of their parents and teachers.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our SDS, Dr. Sahanee M. Sumagayan, for inspiring us to uphold a culture of excellence in MCES.

Through this Midyear Recognition, MCES reaffirms its commitment to fostering excellence and motivating learners to strive even harder in the succeeding quarters, and to transform them into the best versions of their character. MADARIS DIVISION HEAD INSTRUCTIONAL SUPERVISION: MONITORING AND EVALUATION VISIT
November 24, 2025

Madaris Division Head Norlenah Hadjiadatu and the Assistant MDHs, together with Central District Focal Saphia Marandacan, visited Marawi City Elementary School to conduct Instructional Supervision.

This monitoring and evaluation activity is conducted annually as part of the City Schools Division of Marawi, led by SDS Dr. Sahanee M. Sumagayan, in its continuing effort to ensure quality Madaris Education.

MCES ISAL Teacher Junairah Daranda was observed during her class session by MDH Norlenah Hadjiadatu, two Assistant MDHs, and School Head Aisah T. Solaiman.

DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL KITS
November 24, 2025

The Marawi City Elementary School, headed by Aisah T. Solaiman, would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, led by OIC-PSWDO Monaima A. Adiong, RSW, PhD, for providing our learners and teachers with educational kits and ₱100 each. We are also deeply grateful for the additional support through the provision of a printer, inks, chalks, and bond papers.

We would like to thank our SDS, Dr. Sahanee M. Sumagayan, for including our school as one of the recipients of this educational kit distribution. Thank you for making this possible.
