The program began with the Opening Ceremonies, followed by a warm Welcome Address of ๐ป๐๐๐. ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ. ๐ฒ๐๐๐, Chairperson, Department of Elementary Teaching and a meaningful Message of Support of ๐ฏ๐. ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ธ๐๐๐-๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, Dean of the College of Education that reminded us of the importance of creating inclusive and nurturing learning environments for young children.
One of the highlights of the event was the lecture proper delivered by our esteemed Resource Speaker, ๐๐ป๐ต๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐ฃ. ๐๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐ธ๐ผ๐ธ, ๐๐๐ฃ, a proud alumna of the College of Education with a degree in Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and currently the ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ก ๐ค๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก. She shared valuable insights on how educators and future teachers can guide children in understanding identity, roles, and expression with empathy, respect, and sensitivity.
The seminar became even more engaging through the interactive workshop proper and ice breaker session, where participants actively shared ideas, reflected on real-life classroom situations, and strengthened their understanding of gender-responsive teaching practices.
This successful event was made possible through the leadership of ๐ป๐๐๐. ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐พ. ๐น๐๐๐๐ and the dedication of the Early Childhood Education Society officers, together with the support of the College of Education faculty.

On March 13, 2026, the College of Education Student Organizations and Clubs came together in a collaborative initiative entitled โMawaa-id Ar-Rahmah: Tables of Mercy, Ramadhan Iftar Drive 2026โ in observance of the holy month of Ramadan. The activity was made possible through the joint efforts of the Early Childhood Education Society (ECEDS), Education Students' Organization (EDSO), Atelier Art Club (AAC), El Sophian Debate Society (ESDS), Ember, and the Circle of Home Economists (CHE).
Through this collective initiative, the organizations extended support and compassion to 168 Qur'an learners, orphans, and ustads from several Qur'anic learning centers across Lanao del Sur. Volunteers dedicated their time and effort to prepare and distribute iftar meals and learning materials, embodying the spirit of generosity and unity that the month of Ramadan inspires.
The activity aimed not only to provide nourishment for the beneficiaries as they break their fast but also to strengthen the bond between the College of Education student organizations and the Qur'anic learning communities they serve.
The iftar drive reached beneficiaries from the following institutions:
