Feeling like Einstein today for the STEM students of the Senior High School Department of the Philippine Engineering and Agro-Industrial College, Inc., on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, with the theme “𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀: Illuminating STEM Curiosity Through Sustainable Electrical Application,” the event highlighted the brilliance and potential of young minds dedicated to science and technology. The program aimed to not only showcase student outputs but also inspire a deeper appreciation for sustainable and practical electrical applications in today’s world.

The event began in the morning with Grade 11 students showcasing the different infrastructures they had to offer. Each building had its own unique design; some presented structures that went beyond modern day ideas, while others created miniature 3D models of our current society, featuring more than just buildings but an entire community.

As the afternoon session unfolded, the graduating Grade 12 students took the spotlight, demonstrating their excellence and creativity in circuit applications. They explored various ways to execute and apply electricity through different methods; some utilized light, air, and even water.

Guided by the event director, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐀. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨, every student left with lasting memories and knowledge that will continue to shape their intelligence and continuous curiosity.

QALAM Publication formally held its Oath-Taking and Leadership Turnover Ceremony at the 𝐒𝐤𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 28, 2026 with a theme “𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲”. The event began at 9:00 a.m. and marked a milestone for the publication as it welcomed newly inducted members and formally transferred leadership to its appointed Editor-in-Chief.

The ceremony was opened by the Master of Ceremony 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐂. 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐨, followed by an invocation led by 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌. 𝐌𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐠. The singing of the National Anthem and the Regional Hymn was performed by 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐬, setting a solemn tone for the event. Opening remarks were delivered by 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌. 𝐌𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐠, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of dedication in campus journalism.

An inspirational message was then shared by 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧 𝐆. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚, a former member of QALAM. She reminded members that journalism is not just about writing, but also about thinking critically and speaking the truth responsibly. She encouraged them to balance their responsibilities with resilience and commitment, and to embrace their roles as campus journalists with pride.

A message of guidance was followed by Ma’am 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐃. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐥, who highlighted the ethical responsibilities of being in a school publication. She reminded members that they are not just writers or editors, but storytellers of truth and voices for those who cannot speak. She emphasized that credibility comes from careful research and responsible writing, and that leadership is defined by accountability and integrity. She concluded with the reminder, “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬.”

One of the key highlight of the event was the Leadership Turnover Ceremony, in which 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧 𝐆. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚 formally handed over the responsibilities of the publication to the appointed Editor-in-Chief, 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚. In her acceptance speech, 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚 shared her journey in campus journalism for years before earning the Editor-in-Chief title in QALAM.

She spoke about her journey through competitions, setbacks, bold decisions, and pauses caused by personal circumstances and the pandemic, and how these shaped who she is today. She also thanked her team for the support, collaboration, and shared moments that made writing a meaningful experience. She reminded them that QALAM is more than a publication, it is a family.

She ended her speech with hope for the publication’s future and left the members with the quote, “𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐩𝐚. 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐲.” reminding everyone that progress continues despite uncertainty and challenges ahead.

The acceptance speech was followed by the oath-taking ceremony led by 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐡 𝐑. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠, officially inducting the members. The event ended with brief closing remarks from 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚, who emphasized that teamwork will continue to strengthen QALAM as a platform for ethical and purposeful journalism.

The ceremony celebrated not only the transition of leadership but also the spirit of teamwork, growth, and commitment that defines QALAM Publication.

In preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan, the Hidaya Islamic Student Association (HISA) alongside Senior High School's Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Philippine Engineering and Agro-Industrial College, Inc. (PEACI) successfully conducted its Islamic Seminar on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥.

With the theme “Preparing the Heart and Mind: Strengthening Faith for the Blessed Month of Ramadan,” the seminar aimed to equip students with knowledge, reflection, and spiritual readiness as Ramadan approaches.

The event featured two insightful lectures delivered by respected Islamic instructors:

Both speakers shared valuable reminders on faith, discipline, and self-purification, guiding the participants to become more mindful and spiritually prepared for the holy month.

This meaningful gathering would not have been possible without the efforts of the HISA officers, the support of the PEACI Senior High School Supreme Student Council, and everyone who took part in making the seminar a success.

The day kicked off at 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, as students started their day being lively and active during the Funimazing Run, showing endurance, teamwork, and determination throughout the course.

The excitement carried on with Funsarap, where each house showcased creativity and skill through their culinary entries, ending the 3rd day with shared laughter, pride, and memorable moments.

The energy was high as everyone gathered at 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐤 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, witnessing the opening of this year’s celebration—full of color, excitement, and familiar faces.

From the cheers to the activities, the first day already gave a glimpse of how memorable the days ahead will be, bringing everyone together to enjoy and celebrate as one.

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒆𝒕 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆

In the quiet corridors of Peaci Senior High School, where dreams echo through the pages of notebooks and the air hums with ambition, one student quietly carved his own story of perseverance and purpose. His name is 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧, a proud student of the STEM strand who, though referring to himself as "just a normal student," rose to become Top 1, not just in his class but in the entire senior high school department.

From the very start, 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡 already saw the spark in himself. “𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟏,” he confessed with a shy smile. “𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡.” That self-belief, however, wasn’t rooted in pride, it was born from a deep sense of responsibility and love.

“𝐌𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬,” he said. “𝐈’𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝.”

But behind every medal and recognition, there is a story of struggle. For 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡, one of his most challenging moments came during SASE 2025, the scholarship assessment that would determine his future. “𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲,” he recalled. “𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞.”

That mentality, hope in hardship has gotten 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡 through sleepless nights, heavy workloads, and moments of doubt. Like most students, he had to deal with burnout, but he found strength in the people around him. “𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭,” he shared. “𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠.”

When asked whom he dedicates his success to, his answer came without hesitation. “𝐓𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐦𝐲 𝐎𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐞. 𝐈’𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥. 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭.”

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡's values trace back to his Maranao upbringing. He lives by his favorite saying “𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐨 𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐤 𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚 𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚.” it means that everything you do should be done wholeheartedly and with purpose. “𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈 𝐝𝐨, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭,” he explained. “𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.”

But for 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡, being Top 1 is not about superiority. "𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭," he said with sincerity. "𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧."

That humility is what defines him. He refers to himself as "𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞." His advice with others? "𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟. 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨."

As the interview drew to a close, his message to fellow students was simple, yet powerful, words that could resonate with anyone feeling lost or uncertain.

"𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞," he said. "𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠. In a world where success is often measured by medals and grades, 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 reminds us that the truest measure of greatness lies in humility, perseverance, and heart. His story is not only of being at the top but of rising with grace, staying grounded, and inspiring others to do the same

The 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 welcomed a meaningful mental health initiative last 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, as the 𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒋𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 (𝑷𝒔𝒚𝑴𝑺) of 𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧, together with the 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑷𝑩𝒀𝑶) and 𝑷𝒉𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝑰𝒏𝒄., held the Guided Self-Help Toolkit Users Orientation at the 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐤𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥. The activity introduced students to the Guided Self-Help Toolkit Program, designed to support adolescents through self-help materials and weekly check-ins with mentors.

The orientation highlighted two important components:
(1) the proper use of the Guided Self-Help Toolkit.
(2) the responsibilities of both the toolkit users and their assigned mentors.

The program opened with the Invocation, National Anthem, and BARMM Hymn led by CONCORDS, followed by a crowd energizer from the organizers. 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐒. 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐠 delivered the opening remarks, followed by a message of support by the 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐝 𝐁. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧. A message from the Psychology Majors Society Deputy Society Head followed. The team from PBYO then conducted the Toolkit Users Orientation, explaining the importance of the program and how students can use the toolkit effectively.

During their first Check-In session, students were grouped into 5–7 members, each assigned to a mentor. The session opened a safe space for students to share personal struggles and reflections.

Afterward, the event closed with final remarks from the 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐌𝐒 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, expressing gratitude to the 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐈-𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 for their full support. With mental health becoming an increasingly important concern among youth, this initiative aims to help students understand and control their emotions, build healthier habits, practice self-compassion, and seek help proactively.

𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐌𝐈𝐃-𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

"Some people succeed because they are destined. Most succeed because they are determined."

Congratulations to all Academic Achievers and Honor Students of the Philippine Engineering and Agro-Industrial College, Inc. Senior High School Department! Truly, a moment worth celebrating as we have all done our best to make it this far.

Once again, the SHS Department of Philippine Engineering and Agro-Industrial College, Inc. held its Mid-Year Recognition, where students were awarded and acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to their academic performance.

The event was held on November 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the PEACI New Building’s Heaven Hall. The program began with Ma'am Rohaniyah Pangcoga as the Master of Ceremony. She then introduced Mr. Ashree Mudag for the Opening Invocation, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the BARMM Hymn conducted by Ms. Hanie Laifah Amenodden.

During the Opening Remarks, Sir Noshair Macadato emphasized that this event is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new chapter. Not being on the list does not mean you are not qualified—there is simply room for improvement. His sincere words encouraged students to strive harder and never give up.

After his speech, Ma'am Hasmin Enrique introduced the faculty members and announced the changes in positions within the department—formally introducing Ma'am Haina Batua as the new STEM Strand Coordinator, and the former STEM Strand Coordinator, Sir Noshair Macadato, as the new Faculty Secretary of the SHS Department.

Finally, the moment every student had been waiting for—the awarding of honor students. The students were delighted to see their hard work pay off. Nothing is sweeter than the fruit of your labor, and some students work even harder to reach the peak of their abilities. Two students stood out the most in their respective grade levels: Ahmad Sangcopan (11 – Gemini) and Salih Nasroden (12 – Callisto).

After the awarding, Salih Nasroden delivered a heartfelt speech expressing his gratitude to everyone who supported him. He highlighted his parents’ role in his achievements, touching the hearts of many in the audience. Truly, an icon when it comes to delivering speeches. The event concluded with the Closing Remarks by Sir Noshair Macadato.

And to those who did not make it, always remember: even if you haven’t reached the list yet, you are still farther ahead than those who never tried.
