MARAWI CITY โ€” Twenty-four groups of Grade 12 students from different sections of RC-AKICFI Senior High School showcased their entrepreneurial creativity, resilience, and competitiveness in Padian sa AKIC 2026, a five-day enterprise activity held as part of Entrepreneurship Week.

Headed by Program Chairman Ahmad S. Bantuas, the participating groups were recognized for their efforts during the awarding ceremony on September 12, 2026, at the RC-AKICFI SLS Gymnasium.

Beyond the recognition, the activity highlighted teamwork and perseverance as key elements of entrepreneurial success. Several teams emerged as top performers:

MARAWI CITY โ€” The first day of Padian sa AKIC officially opened on September 6, 2026, at Al-Kwarizmi International Collegeโ€“Senior High School (AKIC-SHS), marking the start of this year's Entrepreneurship Week.

All Grade 12 students officially opened and operated their respective stalls, offering a variety of food products to the AKIC community. Beyond entrepreneurship, the event also embraced the richness of Meranao culture, showcasing traditions and cultural elements through the students' stalls and presentations.

The opening day brought the campus to life as student entrepreneurs welcomed customers, promoted their products, and creatively incorporated the beauty of Meranao heritage into their businesses.

More than just a marketplace, Padian sa AKIC provided students with a hands-on entrepreneurial experience while serving as a platform to celebrate and preserve the traditions and culture of the Meranao people.

Society of Quizzers and Debaters (SQUAD) members secured the 1st Reserve Breaking Team spot at the 8th Mindanao Novice Cup (MNC) Debate Competition held online on August 28-30, 2026. They competed against 43 teams from both the college and high school categories.

The RC-AKICFI SHS debaters, competing under the name "Orion's Belt," earned 1 win and a total of 1,032 speaker points in the tournament.

MNC gathers novice debaters from across Mindanao and helps shape their critical thinking and reasoning skills.
