This coming Monday, September 7, 2026 at the CHTM Pavilion, exact 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM, all enrolled CHTM students for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 2026–2027 are required to attend. Attendance is mandatory and will be strictly monitored.

• Bring your passbook (for 2nd Year to 4th Year students)
• For 1st Year students: Attendance sheet will be provided
• Please arrive on time and come prepared because this orientation will help you start the semester ready and informed
• Snacks and refreshments will be provided 🍴✨

Whether on-site or on-screen, the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management continues to lead in academic excellence, as we proudly celebrate our faculty members and students who are scheduled to present their papers at the 12th International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management (ICOHT) 2026, themed "Regenerating Tourism Paradigms: Intersections of Culture, Wellness, and Innovation", taking place on July 13-14, 2026, via hybrid platforms, both in Bangkok, Thailand, and virtually via Zoom.

Meet the minds representing the college:
📝Mr. Aguinaldo (Malik Sharief) M. Capal III, MBA, faculty member at the Tourism Management Department, presenting live at the conference venue in Bangkok, Thailand.

The following will also be presenting their papers at the global virtual parallel sessions:
📝Ms. Ameenah R. Gumal, MAPS, faculty member of the same department; and
📝Ms. Marisa U. Sabanto, a graduating BS Tourism Management student, presenting on behalf of her co-authors Ms. Maimana L. Sultan and Ms. Ameenah R. Gumal, MAPS.

The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management proudly celebrates one of its faculty members, Mr. Aguinaldo (Malik Sharief) M. Capal III, MBA, as he represents the institution on the international stage as both a delegate and in-person paper presenter at the 12th International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management (ICOHT) 2026. The conference, themed "Regenerating Tourism Paradigms: Intersections of Culture, Wellness, and Innovation", is currently held from July 13-14, 2026, via a hybrid platform, both on-site in Bangkok, Thailand, and virtually via Zoom.

In tandem with this global engagement, the college also extends its warmest congratulations to Dean Ainnie M. Gangco-Basman for her recognition as the coordinator representing the college and the university as the conference's academic partner. 🧡🧡

Sincerest gratitude is also extended to Ms. Anne Fatimah L. Mangondato, Chairperson of the Tourism Management Department; Dr. Lei May A. Dalaten, College Research Coordinator; Dr. Mahid M.
