Jayeel Cornelio, PhD, is the Director of the Science Education Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-SEI). A trained sociologist, he specializes in youth, generational change, and religion and public life. Emma Tomalin is a Professor at the University of Leeds, UK. She is a sociologist of religion and religious studies scholar whose work focuses on the broad area of religion and public life. Her research has long examined the relationship between religion and global development, including its gender dimensions. More recently, her work has explored the role of faith actors in humanitarian action, peacebuilding, and health. Her research has primarily focused on South and Southeast Asia, with more recent work extending to East Africa. In the United Kingdom, she has also conducted research on the role of faith actors in public life, particularly in relation to anti-trafficking and modern slavery initiatives, as well as the contribution of local faith communities to public health.

Septrin Calamba is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation, Deakin University, Australia. His research focuses on young peopleโs everyday citizenship, peace, and aspirations in conflict-affected contexts, particularly in Mindanao, Philippines. His work examines how young people navigate and respond to protracted conflict through everyday political practices and peacebuilding efforts. Fitzgerald N. Torralba is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology, College of Arts and Social Sciences, Mindanao State University โ Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). He is also the current Artistic Director of the Resident Pop Band, Echoes. Additionally, he is the current Adviser for the MSU-IIT Sociological Society. His fields of interest and study are Sociology of Religion, Social Movements and the Culture and the Arts. He finished his undergraduate studies in AB Sociology (2016) and his Masters of Sociology last 2020 with his paper entitled โPunx mi Bai!โ: The Iligan City Hardcore Punk Movement which was published in the Cultural Pedagogical Index of the University of Alberta. He has presented papers locally and internationally and is also currently writing another paper about the different underground musical and religious movements in the Philippines funded by the British Academy and in collaboration with Ateneo De Manila University (Religion and the Public life in the Philippines).

Frans Bert D. Gomez is the Chair of the Department of Social Science and Philosophy at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM). He also Leads the Multicultural Indigenous Peoples Center for Research, Education, and Development (MIPCRED), a center that supports inclusive, high-quality education for Indigenous communities and promotes research and development initiatives for Indigenous Peoples both within and beyond the university. His academic focus is on the sociology of religion, exploring how faith, culture, and society intersect in daily lifeโparticularly in diverse and fragile settings like Mindanao. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Mindanao State University โ Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), deepening his study of Filipino spirituality in terms of belief, identity, and spirituality in the Philippine context, specifically the MONCADISTAS. In both teaching and research, he aims to connect theory with practice, the classroom with the community, and scholarship with service.
