Alhamdulillah! A Pricelss Output of Good Partnership ; RESOLUTION NO. 056-04 s. 2026, RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND ENDORSING THE RECOMMENDATION FROM THE EDUCATION SECTOR SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (ESIP) COACHING AND MENTORING, AND STRENGTHENING BARANGAY PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT MECHANISMS FOR BASIC EDUCATION IN THE ISLAMIC CITY OF MARAWI

This Division under the leadership of the competent 𝙎𝘿𝙎 𝘿𝙍. 𝙎𝘼𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙀𝙀 𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉, 𝘽𝘼𝙄 𝘼 𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙄 𝙆𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝘼 𝘼 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙊 Fz Tim, extend our utmost gratitude to the Sangguniang Panlungsod Marawi City led by the good Vice Mayor HON. ATTY SULTAN MAJUL U. GANDAMRA, and the Hon City Mayor SHARIFF ZAIN LANTO GANDAMRA, for highlighting the successful conduct of the 31st Regular Session, marked by the approval of Resolution No. 056-04, Series of 2026.

This resolution adopts and endorses the key recommendations from the Education Sector particularly the Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education MBHTE SDO-Marawi City, promoting Harmonization of Bangsamoro leaders in the provision of responsive and relevant quality Education to Meranaw Bangsamoro LEARNERS. This resolution assists in the immidiate respond and support of the barangay officials in ensuring delivery of the best education in their community.
Remarkable gratitude is extended also to the Sponsor City Councilors HON. ANISAH D. MAGANDIA-DIMAL and HON. ALIKHAN TAIB JR., and with the full support of City Councilor HON. SULTAN JAWAR R DOMATO. May this resolution strengthen the good and Harmonious collaboration between the Barangay officials and the School officials.

Today we presented the Peace Pals Program to five partner schools in Marawi City, strengthening our shared commitment to peace education and child development.

This meaningful engagement was joined by 5 School Principals under MBHTE SDO-Marawi City, DIO DR. Mona Miscille Domato , TPBPM Lanao Circle - SALAM for Peace Collectives , Lt. Nica D Aaron of 2Coy 1CMOBn, and few of HCIInc Board of Trustees - all united in nurturing young peacebuilders through dialogue, creativity, and compassion.

Together, we continue building pathways from vulnerability to dignity and peace, one child and one school at a time.

We are proud and delighted to announce the successful on-going implementation of the Tara Basa Tutoring Sessions held across Marawi City!

This meaningful initiative was made possible through genuine, seamless collaboration and shared commitment between the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE), the Local Government Unit (LGU) through CSWD of Marawi City, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the dedicated team of tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDWs) from Mindanao State University (MSU).

Currently, all partners worked hand-in-hand — from planning and preparing learning materials, to facilitating classes, guiding learners, and ensuring every activity was safe, inclusive, and effective. This joint effort proved that when government agencies, institutions, and community workers unite for education, we can create real, positive impact for our children.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, skills, and heart in making Tara Basa a success. Your dedication to uplifting literacy and supporting young learners is truly commendable.

May this initiative serve as a strong example of partnership, and may we continue working together to provide quality learning opportunities for every child in Marawi City and beyond.

SDO-MARAWI EXTENDS FULL SUPPORT TO TPBPM 3-YEAR PEACECARE PROJECT LAUNCHING

The Schools Division Office of Marawi City, under the leadership of peace advocate and dedicated Schools Division Superintendent 𝙎𝘿𝙎 𝘿𝙍. 𝙎𝘼𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙀𝙀 𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉, 𝘽𝘼𝙄 𝘼 𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙄 𝙆𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝘼 𝘼 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙊, proudly extends its full support to the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement 3-Year PeaceCare Project during its official launching held on May 20, 2026, at the Social Hall, Provincial Capitol of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.

Representing SDS Sumagayan in the event was Supervisor Jalilah Abduljalil, who personally met with Rohaniza Sumndad-Usman to convey the Division’s unwavering commitment and support to this meaningful peace mission in Lanao del Sur.

This collaboration reflects the shared vision of promoting peace, unity, healing, and sustainable development through education and community engagement. The initiative further strengthens partnerships among institutions committed to building a culture of peace for future generations.

Another significant partnership with the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement (TPBPM), sponsored by the Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo, marks a meaningful step toward strengthening and institutionalizing Peace Education and making it an integral part of the educational system and learning process.

The Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education MBHTE SDO-Marawi City, under the visionary leadership of 𝙎𝘿𝙎 𝘿𝙍. 𝙎𝘼𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙀𝙀 𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉, 𝘽𝘼𝙄 𝘼 𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙄 𝙆𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝘼 𝘼 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝘽𝘼O, is honored to be part of TPBPM’s Intergenerational Peace Education Leaders Fellowship. Three officials from the Division successfully passed the national screening for this prestigious fellowship grant: DIO Dr. Mona Miscille Domato, School Principal Dr. Rohanida Saripada Mutin of Lake Lanao National High School, and School Principal Saimah S. Abedin of Angoyao National High School Page

Held from May 2–7, 2026 at Abagatan Ti Manila, the 6-day training workshop became a meaningful journey for the participants in peacebuilding. The fellowship allowed them to engage in self-rediscovery, reflective learning, redesigning innovative peace initiatives, and strengthening compassion for oneself and others.

The approved peace education plans developed during the fellowship will be implemented in their respective institutions, reinforcing the Division’s commitment to cultivating a culture of peace, empathy, inclusivity, and transformative education within schools and communities.

SAHANEE M SUMAGAYAN, BAI A LABI KO BAYABAO Fz Tim , on the approved resolution pertaining to the raised recommendations during the Enhanced School Improvement Plan (ESIP) Coaching and Mentoring program initiative.
Mr. Abubacar in his post said that this underscores a strengthened commitment to enhancing the quality of basic education and empowering barangay-level participation in the Islamic City of Marawi.

"Through this initiative, the city continues to take meaningful steps toward inclusive, community-driven education reform—ensuring that every learner is supported through collaborative governance and sustainable programs", Abubacar added.
