๐ฃ What SSC positions subject for application?
The following are the SSC positions that the aspirant may apply/occupy:

๐Vice-President for Internal Affairs
๐Vice-President for External Affairs
๐12 Senators
๐2 First Year Representatives
๐2 Second Year Representatives
๐2 Third Year Representatives
๐ฃ What qualifications are needed?
Under the Article IV of the SSC Constitution and By-Laws, it is stated that:
Sec. 1. Any bona fide student duly enrolled in the undergraduate course of RC-AKICFI may file a Certificate of Candidacy and run in any SSC elective position provided the following qualifications are met:
(a) The candidate must be willing and able to serve and commit him/herself for the studentsโ concern and the school;
(b) The candidate must carry at least 18-unit load in the current trimester prescribed by his/her Department Chairperson;
(c) The candidate must not be a graduating student of the current and immediately succeeding trimesters as certified by his/her Department Chairperson and the Registrarโs Office, except candidates for Third/Fourth Year Representative;
(d) The candidate must not have been found guilty of any disciplinary case or any act involving moral turpitude specified in the College Student Manual as certified by the Schoolโs Guidance Counselor and his/her academic adviser or immediate supervisor;
(e) The candidate must not hold any higher position in his/her department or any student organization in the College, e.g., President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Dawat EIC, LI Prime minister and Deputy Prime, not unless he/she will forfeit his/her seat for the Council;
(f) The candidate must be a resident of the College for at least one Academic Year prior to the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy, except candidates for First Year Representative; and
(g) The candidate for Batch Representative must have earned the required units based on their curriculum, except candidates for First Year Representative.
(h) For the re-electing candidates, you must first secure your endorsement from your coordinator before filing your candidacy.
Your endorsement must indicate that you were active and performed your duties responsibly during your term of office. If your coordinator reports that you failed to properly carry out your responsibilities or has any valid complaint regarding your performance, you will not be eligible to participate in the candidacy.
Sec. 2. No students shall be allowed to run if the aspirant:
(a) Have a failed subject of more than six units in the immediately preceding trimester, INC grade is considered as โfailedโ; and
(b) Is on academic probation or disciplinary sanction.
(c) A student shall not be eligible to file a Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for any Supreme Student Council position if he or she has been officially removed, terminated, dismissed, or subjected to disciplinary action from any recognized student organization due to negligence of duties, misconduct, violation of organizational policies, abuse of authority, or any other valid cause as determined by the concerned organization and duly documented by the appropriate office.
