A structured and protected Instructional Block shall be implemented in all schools to ensure the effective delivery of curriculum standards and maximization of uninterrupted instructional time supported by appropriate assessment practices. ARAL Program remediation sessions shall be systematically scheduled within the Instructional Block to strengthen learning recovery, address gaps in foundational skills, and promote equitable and improved learning outcomes for all learners.

School-based co-curricular activities shall be conducted only after class hours during the Instructional Block. At the division or regional levels, such activities should be scheduled alongside or immediately after the ARAL Program sessions. School heads must ensure that no co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including preparations and rehearsals, are conducted during the Instructional Block.
