These activities aim to promote mental health awareness, su***de prevention, peer support, and student well-being through creative and meaningful expressions.

Anchored on the ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐†๐จ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ (๐’๐ƒ๐†๐ฌ), FiSO believes that meaningful change becomes possible when we work together. From student initiatives to community-centered projects, we are ready to build partnerships that create a lasting impact.

On September 24, 2026, CFAS students gathered at the CFAS Grounds to give a simple surprise to their faculty members in celebration of Teachersโ€™ Month.

๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐’๐ž๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฅ ๐…๐š๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐‰. ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š, a third-year student, addressed the faculty and expressed her appreciation for their hard work, guidance, and support. This was followed by a message from FiSO President ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‰๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ฐ๐ข๐ž ๐‘. ๐๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐๐š, who also expressed his gratitude to the faculty for their dedication to the students.

The CFAS faculty members also shared their messages with the students, expressing their appreciation and encouragement. It was a simple but meaningful moment shared between teachers and students.

With simple gifts, messages, and smiles, the Baby Sharks showed their love and appreciation to their teachers who continue to guide and support them. The day was made even brighter with our jolly emcee, ๐Œ๐จ๐กโ€™๐ ๐™๐จ๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ ๐‹. ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ .

The College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) participated in the UMY Information Session on academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and global academic collaboration. The CFAS delegation was composed of four 4th year students and three junior faculty members, with the CFAS Dean, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š-๐€๐ง๐ง ๐Œ. ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ง, also present during the event.

The session was held at the CHTM Pavilion on September 23, 2026, providing an avenue for the CFAS community to explore international academic pathways, scholarship opportunities, and potential global collaborations.
