The Mathematics Department proudly congratulates its Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Statistics students for successfully completing their On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program for Academic Year 2025-2026.

Under the guidance of this year's OJT Coordinator, Prof. Analyn C. Malines, MSc, fifteen (15) student interns were deployed to various offices of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Metro Manila and Northern Mindanao. Their placements included the PSA Headquarters, the Commission on Audit, the PSA Regional Statistical Services Office X, and the PSA Provincial Statistical Office of Misamis Oriental.

The OJT Program serves as an essential component of the Department's curriculum, bridging classroom learning with professional practice. Through this experiential learning opportunity, our students applied the knowledge and skills they acquired in their academic courses while further developing their analytical thinking, technical competence, professionalism, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in real-world work environments.

The Mathematics Department extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Statistics Authority and its partner offices for their invaluable support, mentorship, and commitment to developing the next generation of mathematics and statistics professionals.

To our student interns, your dedication, perseverance, and professionalism have brought pride to the Department. May the knowledge, experiences, and values you gained during your internship inspire you to continue pursuing excellence as you prepare for your future careers.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also invite aspiring students to become part of the Mathematics Department family.
