Sultan for her support, our Vice Chancellor and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Minerva-Saminah Mambuay-Naga, OP Chief of Staff Abdul Aziz Pangandaman, and the President Atty. Paisalin PD Tago, CPA for their guidance and endless support. Alhamdulillah. 💚

Pre-Opening Update | Brigada Eskwela 2026

Alhamdulillah! Today, faculty, staff, and students participated in the BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 of MSU Marawi Senior High School before the formal opening of classes on August 17, 2026.

Students brought their own cleaning materials and enjoyed meeting old and new friends as both grade 11 and grade 12 students came for their first brigada for the year.

Thank you to everyone who participated! Big thanks as well to our faculty and staff who helped, especially to Director Prof. Rohanie M. Sultan for her support. She even provided snacks and refreshments for the students. 🤩

Alhamdulillah. In shaa Allah, we are off to a good start, dear students! See you on opening day!

Pre-Opening Notice | Brigada Eskwela

Assalamu alaikom!

All Grade 11 and Grade 12 students are required to participate in the Brigada Eskwela (Do-Day) on August 13–14 (Thursday to Friday), 2026, starting at 9:00 AM.

Students are requested to bring their own cleaning materials, such as:

🧹 Stick broom/Walis ting-ting
🧹 Soft broom/Walis tambo
🪣 Mop
🧽 Cleaning cloths/rags/sponges
🧹 Scrub brush
🗑️ Sacks/trash bags
🪣 Bucket
🧴 Cleaning solution/detergent
🪏 Hand shovel/trowel
🧤 Rubber gloves

Students may choose to participate on either Thursday or Friday, depending on their availability. Brigada slips will be provided and signed as proof of participation.

Alhamdulillah!

MSU Marawi Senior High School is pleased to have participated, through select faculty members and chairpersons led by our Director, Dr. Rohanie M. Sultan, in two meaningful university-wide programs held at the CHTM Pavilion, MSU Main Campus.

From August 4–5, the MSHS team participated in the ISO 9001:2015 QMS and ISO 21001:2025 EOMS Awareness and Internal Audit Training, gaining valuable insights on quality management and continuous improvement.

On August 6–7, the team continued the learning journey through the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainable Impact Ratings Technical Workshop, exploring the University's contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how these initiatives can be better documented and shared for greater impact.

In attendance were no less than the President, Atty. Paisalin PD Tago, CPA, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Atty. Saadudin M. Alauya, Jr., CPA, Vice President and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Minerva-Saminah Mambuay-Naga, Vice President for Research and Extension Dr. Glen A. Lorenzo, and other University officials including college deans and unit heads and directors.

We also especially commend Dr. Richard S. Celeste of the Univesity Quality Assurace Office and Prof. Almahdi G. Alonto of the International Affairs and Linkages Office and the committees behind the successful program for their hard work.

We are always thankful for the opportunity! More than just trainings, these gatherings allowed us to learn, connect, and contribute to MSU's continuing journey toward quality, sustainability, and meaningful impact. 💚

Great work, our young parliamentarians! 👏🏻Congratulations on your significant participation in the 4th Bangsamoro Youth Parliament of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission. 👩‍⚖️👨‍⚖️

Organized by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), the 4th Bangsamoro Youth Parliament (BYP) gathered youth leaders across the region for immersive legislative simulations, parliamentary debates, and policy deliberations centered on civic engagement and youth empowerment.

Anchored on the theme "Bangsamoro Youth at the Forefront of Moral Governance: Building Peace, Inclusion and Meaningful Participation," the event took place in Cotabato City, BARMM, from July 27 to 31, 2026.

Suwara proudly honors and celebrates our delegates for their commendable representation and active participation in shaping regional policies during this assembly:

A huge congratulations to Nailah Jehan P. Casim, whose proposed resolution entitled "A Resolution Urging the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament to Expedite and Pass Measures Protecting Survivors of Child, Early, and Forced Marriage (CEFM) by Establishing a Comprehensive, Culturally Sensitive Holistic Reintegration Framework, Mandating Educational Fast-Tracking, Peer Mental Health Networks, and Localized Protective Services"
was officially approved by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) during the 4th BYP.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Bangsamoro Youth Commission for providing platforms where young minds can turn advocacy into action.

Lastly, to our delegates: your dedication proves that young voices are essential in driving lasting peace, equity, and progress across the Bangsamoro.

All successfully pre-enrolled incoming Grade 11 students are hereby instructed to proceed with STEPS 2 TO 5 of the enrollment process on August 3–6, 2026, at the MSHS ANNEX.

📌 Please take note of the following:

1. STEP 2 processing will begin at 10:00 AM at the MSHS Annex.

2. Please refer to the instructions and enrollment guide provided in the email sent to you on July 29, 2026, which contains the link to the enrollment form.

3. Kindly read, understand, and strictly follow all the instructions indicated in the enrollment guide before proceeding.

4. Students must follow the steps in the prescribed order. Advancing to the succeeding steps without completing Steps 1 and 2 will not be considered valid.

5. Please make sure to accomplish each step completely and submit all required documents/information as instructed.

6. Approach faculty, staff, and students respectfully and kindly.

July 30, 2026 was indeed a beautiful day to be an MSUan. 🥰

The MSU Marawi Senior High School joins the entire MSU community in celebrating the graduates of Mindanao State University—with a bang! 🎓🎆

Batch Rinayag, MSU Class of 2026, concluded their journey yesterday, July 30, 2026, with literal flying colors! Alhamdulillah! 🤍

MSU MSHS is filled with love, pride, and joy as our graduates proudly paraded in their caps and gowns despite the unpredictable weather. Alhamdulillah, just before the program began, the skies cleared—as if they, too, were making way for this momentous celebration. ☀️🎓

Yesterday’s ceremonies were one for the books—a celebration filled with color, energy, laughter, pride, and unforgettable moments worthy of being commemorated for years to come. What a blast! 🎉

Our warmest congratulations to the University System President, Atty. Paisalin P. D. Tago, CPA, for his wonderful mind and kind heart, and for leading the University with vision and dedication.

Congratulations as well to the University officials, especially Executive Vice President Dr. Abdulcader Ayo; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Minerva-Saminah M. Naga; and to all University officials, campus chancellors, and directors who contributed to making this celebration truly memorable.

A heartfelt congratulations and appreciation are also in order for the members of the working committee behind this successful celebration. Surely, bringing an event of this magnitude to life required tremendous hard work, courage, creativity, coordination, and commitment. Your efforts, many of which happened quietly behind the scenes, made yesterday’s celebration the spectacular occasion that it was. Mabuhay!
