SDCES Strengthens Learner Wellness Through Preventive Health Care Program

Sultan Disomimba Central Elementary School successfully conducted a Preventive Health Care Program for its Grade 4, 5, and 6 learners on September 10, 2026, at the SDCES Social Hall.

The program aimed to promote early protection, disease prevention, and the importance of practicing healthy habits among intermediate learners.

The meaningful discussion was led by our dedicated District Nurse, Ma'am Isnairah Abubacar and her company, together with the Division Nurses headed by Sir Noroden Ismael. They tackled essential topics such as proper handwashing, and awareness on dangers of smoking, and overall wellness — all vital in ensuring that learners remain healthy, active, and ready to learn.

Learners actively participated and showed enthusiasm in learning how small daily habits can lead to big improvements in their health.

This initiative is part of the school's continuous effort to nurture not only academically excellent but also physically healthy learners — true Batang Matatag.

The SDCES family extends its sincerest gratitude to Ma'am Isnairah and to the Division Health Team for their unwavering support, compassion, and commitment to the well-being of our learners.

Truly, a healthy learner is a better learner!

Wika natin, yaman natin.
Kultura natin, dangal natin.
Pagkakaisa natin, lakas natin.
