In the 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, education is not defined by a title.

The 𝟭𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗛𝗔𝗡 was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of what happens when CMUans come together as one community.

A celebration as grand as the 116th Unified Foundation Day and Alumni Homecoming: KALAYOHAN wouldn’t have been possible without the passion, sweat, and tireless dedication of the people behind the scenes. To our incredible volunteers and performers—you set the stage on fire and kept everything burning bright from start to finish!

We are reaching out to Indigenous Peoples (IP) students of Central Mindanao University (CMU), particularly those whose ethnolinguistic affiliation is outside Bukidnon.

According to references and materials from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), the Philippines is home to diverse Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), representing different cultures, traditions, and communities across the country.

If you are officially enrolled at Central Mindanao University and identify as an Indigenous Peoples (IP) member, whether you belong to an IP community within or outside Bukidnon, we encourage you to accomplish our IP Student Identification and Profiling Form.

This includes students from diverse Indigenous communities, such as Aeta/Ayta, Ati, Bontok, Ibaloi, Ibanag, Ifugao, Kalinga, T'boli, Subanen, Tagbanua, Mandaya, Blaan, and other Indigenous communities.

If your ethnolinguistic affiliation is not included in the choices provided in the form, you may select “Other” and indicate your community. This allows us to accommodate students whose affiliation may not be reflected in the initial reference list.

More than a pageant, 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 was a celebration of courage, identity, purpose, and the power of being unapologetically yourself.

The queens of the Five Children of Kalayohan — 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗮, 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗻, 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗸 — took the stage with beauty, talent, wit, and intellect, while proudly sharing their advocacies, purposes, and dreams. ✨

Every segment became a testament to their courage to speak, inspire, and embrace who they are.
