Not all variables move the same way, and thatโs where correlation comes in!
Understanding the type of correlation helps researchers see how two variables are related. In statistics, relationships can move together, opposite, or not at all.
Here are simple interpretations based on the scatterplot:
Positive Correlation: As the quality of statistical services increases, client satisfaction also increases. Better service, happier clients!
No Correlation: A studentโs shoe size has nothing to do with satisfaction with statistical services. Some variables simply donโt influence each other at all.
Negative Correlation: As the number of statistical errors increases, client satisfaction decreases. Fewer errors mean better trust and satisfaction.
