[LOOK] The Central Mindanao University Admission Test (CMUAT) Board and Office of Admissions and Scholarship Programs (OASP) partnered with Siquijor State College (SSC) for the successful pilot run of the newly revised Graduate Studies Admission Test (GSAT) on August 25, 2026.

Fourth-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd — English, Filipino, and Mathematics) students of SSC participated in the 100-minute examination.

This collaborative initiative plays a vital role in gathering essential data for item analysis and reliability testing, ensuring that our future graduate programs maintain the highest standards of academic excellence.

The CMU team extends its sincere gratitude to SSC President Dr. Steven Sumaylo, VPAA Dr. Mary Ann Temprosa, and the entire Siquijor State College community for their gracious hospitality and steadfast support in making the endeavor a success.

The CMU delegation was led by OASP Director Dr. Cherly C. Cordova, alongside CMUAT Board members Dr. Emmanuel P. Leaño, Dr. Athena Jan I. Derayunan, Dr. Freddielyn B. Pontemayor, Dr. Joemar B. Capuyan, Prof. Amita B. Sususco, Mr. Vanie Y. Benben, and administrative staff.

[ ✨] Central Mindanao University proudly celebrates another milestone in academic excellence! 🎉

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. has granted Level IV Re-accreditation to the following graduate programs: 🎓
MS in Animal Science
🎓 MS in Horticulture
🎓 PhD in Animal Science
🎓 PhD in Horticulture

The accreditation is valid from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2031. This recognition reflects CMU’s continued commitment to quality graduate education, academic excellence, and continuous improvement, while ensuring that its programs meet established standards and respond to the needs of the agriculture sector and the broader community. 💚

[LOOK] To advance gender-responsive governance, the CMU Center for Gender and Development (CGAD) spearheaded "Strategize & Standardize: Advancing GAD Plans and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) Proposal Evaluation," a three-day workshop held from August 19 to 21, 2026.

[IN PHOTOS] To strengthen public-private collaboration and streamline procurement processes, the Office of Supply and Property Management hosted a hybrid Suppliers' Forum on August 25, 2026 — in person at the College of Engineering Atrium and online via Zoom — to present procurement updates, discuss policy and process alignment, and facilitate open dialogue between the university and its suppliers.

The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of several university offices, including the Office of the Vice President for Administration, the Office of Administration and Services, the Office of Bids and Awards Committee, the Office of Financial Management Services, and the Inspectorate Team for Supplies and Materials.

[IN PHOTOS] The CMU–Association of Registered Student Organizations (ARSO), in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council and the University Center for Gender and Development, conducted the KINAADMAN Seminar-Workshop, an activity dedicated to leadership development for newly elected and continuing student leaders from various student organizations in the university.

The event was held at the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) Hall on August 24, 2026. The activity aimed to equip student leaders with the necessary skills, tools, and networks to effectively manage their organizations and carry out their roles and responsibilities.
