The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of BNSHI calls on students who carry care in their hands and courage in their hearts to step forward for School Year 2026–2027.

To lead not to be served, but to serve nature as how it deserves.
Leadership rooted in soil, shaped by wind, and guided by love for all living things.

In line with DepEd Memorandum DM-OUOPS-2025, the YES-O Elections will be conducted under COMEA, honoring a process that is fair, transparent, and led by learners who believe in something greater than themselves.

Cobra Purified Antivenom is now available at Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center and BPH-Maramag—a long-awaited lifesaver for communities across the province. Even better, this life-saving treatment is absolutely free for everyone in need, fully covered by PhilHealth.

In rural areas like Bukidnon, snakebites remain a serious public health concern. Recent incidents have highlighted the urgent need for timely access to antivenom to prevent severe injury or death.

The Provincial Government shared important reminders for snakebite safety:

1. Stay calm.

2. Immobilize the affected limb below heart level.

3. Do NOT cut, suck, or use a tourniquet.

4. Go immediately to the nearest health facility.

5. Inform the attending health worker for antivenom administration.

What's Cobra Purified Antivenom (CPA)

It’s a specific type of antivenom made to treat bites from cobras.

“Purified” means it’s processed to remove unnecessary proteins, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions when administered.

It’s designed to neutralize the venom of cobras so it stops the venom from spreading and causing serious damage.

How it’s different from other antivenoms:

Species-specific: Some antivenoms are for multiple snakes (polyvalent), while CPA targets cobra venom specifically.

Purity: Purified antivenoms are generally safer and cause fewer side effects than older, crude antivenoms.

Effectiveness: Using the right antivenom for the snake species is more effective in stopping venom than a general antivenom.
