Although this post comes a little later than planned due to our busy schedules, it is never too late to celebrate a meaningful and successful event!
The BSIT Department of Torres Capitol College, Inc. proudly looks back on the successful BSIT Grand Masquerade Gala Acquaintance Party 2026, an approved department activity designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities for social interaction, relationship-building, student engagement, and a stronger sense of belonging within the BSIT community.
Beyond the elegant masks, gowns, music, and dancing, the celebration reminded us that the college journey goes beyond academics. Friendships, confidence, meaningful connections, and shared experiences are also essential parts of student development.
One of the highlights of the evening was the inspiring message from our Resource Speaker, Ma'am Missi Ortega, Research and Extension Officer, who encouraged our students to embrace their potential and grow through their experiences.
Among her meaningful reminders were:

๐ง Learn from mistakesโfind the error, correct it, and run again.
๐ Never stop learning in a rapidly changing technological world.
๐ค Build meaningful connections and support one another.

๐ Celebrate every milestone, lesson, friendship, and challenge overcome.

From the Red Carpet Ramp, masquerade looks, section dance presentations, cotillion, games, and fellowship, the evening became a celebration of friendship, creativity, confidence, and community.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the College Administration, BSIT faculty and staff, student leaders, organizers, volunteers, and most especially our BSIT students for their cooperation and enthusiastic participation.
And to Ma'am Missi Ortega, thank you for reminding us that behind every future IT professional must be a person who continues to learn, connect, grow, and uphold integrity.
