The Central Mindanao University Alumni Association Incorporated (CMUAAI) convened another Special Meeting last August 18, 2026, at 11:20 AM, to finalize preparations for the upcoming Alumni Homecoming and address key organizational matters.

The body evaluated the nominees for the CMU Awards and confirmed the Special Awardees for the celebration. The financial report as of August 18, 2026, was likewise presented.

Preparations for the Alumni Assembly & Fellowship Dinner on September 17, 2026, and the Alumni Awards on September 18, 2026, were discussed in detail, including logistics for the confirmed Silver Jubilarians and the schedule for the President's Address on September 16, 2026.

Other matters tackled included volunteer t-shirts, the engagement of an external auditor, the Fence Project, door prizes, and updates on the completed Parking Area Improvement project last August 14.

The Association also addressed a security guard's complaint on dark areas near Fulbright Hall, with plans to install solar lights, alongside preparations for the Food Bazaar at the Grandstand opening on September 7.

CMUAAI remains committed to ensuring a well-organized and successful homecoming celebration for the entire CMU alumni community.

The Central Mindanao University Alumni Association, Incorporated (CMUAAI) held another Special Meeting last August 11, 2026, to discuss preparations and updates for the upcoming Alumni Homecoming and related association activities.

The agenda covered the identification of nominees for the CMU Awards, the Landbank cashless transaction system, Parking Area concerns, the Trail Run, and Bahay Alumni updates.

Other matters tackled included the CMU Alumni Homecoming budget allotted for all events, the finalization of the list of focal persons for the Alumni Chapters, decoration arrangements, and the use of color-coded wristbands for identification during the assembly, fellowship, and awarding activities.

The body also finalized plans for the giving of pins as tokens for the Silver and Golden Jubilarians, honorarium arrangements for the six guest speakers, and the designation of receptionists for the Golden Jubilarians and Silver Jubilarians, alongside preparations for event banners.

CMUAAI continues to work hand in hand in ensuring a meaningful and well-organized homecoming celebration for all CMU alumni.

THE TRAIL IS CALLING YOU HOME.

We do not run away from home. We run back to it.

For 116 years, Central Mindanao University has been where beginnings started.. for farmers' children who became scientists, for scholars who became leaders, for every Musuan-raised dream that grew into something bigger.

This 2026, we're calling our alumni back.. not just to sit and reminisce, but to lace up and RUN.

This is only the 2nd year of the CMU Alumni Homecoming Trail Run .. but it carries all 116 years of who we are.

In collaboration with Central Mindanao University, CMU Alumni Association Incorporated, Office of Alumni Relations and Linkages and Muspo Series.

The Central Mindanao University Alumni Association Incorporated (CMUAAI) convened a Special Meeting last August 4, 2026, at 11:45 AM, bringing together officers and members to deliberate on key resolutions and agenda items in preparation for upcoming alumni initiatives.

Among the resolutions tackled were the Beta Sigma Ice Cream Giving Day of Welcome, the Mass Dance and Float Parade, the 68th SAIT Founding Anniversary, the release of budget for the Raffle Draw, Sigma Alpha Epsilon matters, and the Parking Area Facilitation project.

The body likewise discussed pressing agenda items including updates on the Parking Area development, the ongoing Fence Project, the CMU Alumni Awards, solicitations for the Alumni Homecoming, Bahay Alumni concerns, and the Scholarship Program.

Significant action points were approved, including the addition of limestone loads for the parking area and a firm resolution on the Fence Project โ€” with the Association affirming its commitment to work closely with CMU Administration in establishing accountability, formalizing a Memorandum of Agreement, and pursuing appropriate legal remedies to protect the Association's interests and properties.

CMUAAI remains steadfast in its mission to serve the alumni community and uphold the legacy of Central Mindanao University.

The CMUAAI Board of Trustees, together with the CMU Office of Alumni Relations (OARL), successfully conducted the personal distribution of official CMU@116 invitations last July 2026. This outreach extended to local alumni chapters, key stakeholders, and community partners, as well as an extensive network of local government units and partner companies across Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental.

This initiative serves to formally invite our partners and CMU alumni to the upcoming 116th Founding Anniversary and Alumni Homecoming of Central Mindanao University, scheduled for September 13โ€“20, 2026. We warmly encourage all alumni to return to campus and take part in this milestone celebration.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the CMU Administration for its steadfast support, to the CMUAAI for their relentless dedication to this endeavor, and to all local partners who warmly welcomed our teams during the distribution.
