[LOOK] The Professional Education Department conducted a Classroom-Based Action Research (CBAR) Seminar today for 4th-year students enrolled in Field Study 2: Participation and Teaching Assistantship at the CMU College of Engineering Atrium.

Serving as the resource speaker, Dr. Ariel B. Montecalbo, Education Program Supervisor (School Governance and Operations Division) of the Department of Education, Division of Bukidnon, provided the students with valuable knowledge and practical guidance in conducting classroom-based action research to address authentic challenges and improve teaching and learning practices.

The seminar provided an avenue for future educators to deepen their understanding of action research and strengthen their capacity to become reflective, and research-informed practitioners.

The Professional Education Department congratulates Dr. James L. Paglinawan, esteemed faculty member of the department, for serving as the Resource Speaker during the whole-day workshop, “From Data to Decision: AI for Research and Management Practice,” held on October 4, 2026, at CBM Hall, Central Mindanao University.

Organized by the CMU Business Graduate Council, the workshop brought together graduate students and researchers to explore how artificial intelligence can support research, decision-making, and management practice.

We thank Dr. Paglinawan for sharing his expertise in advancing AI-informed research and academic excellence. 👏

[IN PHOTOS] Dr. James L. Paglinawan served as the resource speaker during Project iSHARED Phase 4: Innovative Skills Honing for Administrators in Research and Development, held on September 30, 2026.

As part of the Write-Shop Proper: Refinement and Packaging of Manuscripts for Publication, Dr. Paglinawan shared his knowledge and expertise in guiding the participants through the process of strengthening and preparing their research manuscripts for publication.

His contribution to the activity reflects the important role of faculty members in sharing their expertise, supporting research initiatives, and contributing to the continuous professional development of educators and administrators.
