The Annual NSTP Performance Evaluation (ANPE) 2026 is more than a closing activity β it is a testament to what our CWTS trainees are truly made of.
On this day, approximately 3,000 trainees demonstrated the core competencies that define a capable disaster responder: passing the Comprehensive Examination, executing the 3-Station and Bucket Relay drills, performing Basic Fire Suppression using the PASS technique, conducting Hands-Only CPR as a unified mass performance, and delivering Basic Psychological First Aid to simulated victims in need.
These are not just academic exercises. These are the very skills that qualify them as part of the CMU School-Based NSRC Unit β a trained, organized, and deployable manpower reserve under the CMU Office of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, anchored in the mandate of RA 9163 and RA 10121.
When disaster strikes, communities don't wait for heroes to arrive β they rely on the prepared ones already in their midst. Today, CMU produced more of them.
To our CWTS trainees: you have shown us that readiness is not an accident. It is a discipline you chose β one session, one skill, one commitment at a time.

π Special Thanks
We are deeply grateful to the CMU Administration for making ANPE 2026 possible. To our University President, Dr. Rolito G. Eballe, whose steadfast support has always given the NSTP the space and resources to grow β thank you. To Dr. Jose S. Valmorida, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and MAJ Hermie P. Pava PA (Res), Vice President for Administration, your guidance ensured that this program was carried out with both academic integrity and operational excellence.
To our dedicated NSTP CWTS Facilitators headed by our Coordinator, Prof. Witnegen Borja-Jabagat β the ones who showed up every session, prepared every activity, and pushed every trainee to be better β this event is as much yours as it is theirs. Your effort behind the scenes never goes unrecognized.
Our sincerest gratitude as well to the evaluators from the CMU ODRRM, Bureau of Fire Protection β Maramag, DRRMO Maramag, Philippine Red Cross β Bukidnon Chapter, and the CMU College of Nursing Faculty for generously sharing your time, expertise, and commitment to excellence. Your presence gave this evaluation the credibility and standard it deserves.
And to our CRCYC, CMU ODRRM QRT, NSRC Volunteers, and of course to our CWTS Multimedia Team β thank you for being the quiet force behind this event. Your service did not go unnoticed. π«Ά
