Maramag Fundamental Baptist Church is a gospel-driven congregation joyfully gathered under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the supreme authority of God’s Word (Colossians 1:18; 2 Timothy 3:16–17). As a member of the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in the Philippines (AFBCP), we are committed to proclaiming the whole counsel of God, faithfully preaching Christ crucified, and making dis

ciples who walk in obedience and holiness (Acts 20:27; Matthew 28:18–20; 1 Peter 1:15–16). We hold to the historic Baptist distinctives, including regenerate church membership, believer’s baptism, the autonomy of the local church under Christ, and the necessity of a gospel-shaped community marked by accountability, covenant love, and Spirit-empowered worship (Acts 2:38–42; Galatians 6:1–2). We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—accomplished by the will of the Father, secured by the Son, and applied by the Spirit (Ephesians 1:3–14; John 6:37–39). In all things, our aim is to glorify God, delight in His Word, and proclaim the good news of Jesus to every generation until He returns (2 Corinthians 4:5; Philippians 2:9–11).

GOD’S STANDARD PROCEDURE: FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE

There are no exceptions. There are no options.

No matter who you are.
No matter what you’ve done.
No matter how far you’ve fallen.

Before a holy God, our works can never be enough.
Our goodness cannot carry us.
Our religious efforts cannot make us righteous.

But there is good news:

We are justified by Faith in Christ alone—and by grace alone.

And because it is grace, it is FREE.

You do not have to earn what Christ freely gives.
You do not have to finish what Christ has already finished.
You do not have to bring your righteousness to the cross—
Christ brings His righteousness to you.

Grace does not say, “Try harder, then come.”
Grace says, “Come to Christ.”

Faith does not boast, “Look what I have done.”
Faith rests and says, “Look what Christ has done.”

So lay down your striving.
Lay down your boasting.
Lay down your fear.

Christ is enough.

The ground is level at the foot of the cross.
The guilty find mercy.
The weary find rest.
The sinner finds righteousness—not in himself, but in Christ.

Christ alone.
Faith alone.
Grace alone.

August Challenge 🍃

Jonah 2 reminds us that God’s mercy often meets us where repentance begins.

We all share the same problem: sin.
Today, we all have the same opportunity: repentance.

As we begin August, don’t just make new goals—make a new resolve:
Return to the Lord. Renew your devotion. Walk in holiness. Live for Christ.

May this month be marked not by better plans, but by genuine repentance and greater obedience.

What an encouragement to see so many of our church family gather tonight in the church hall for prayer. Together, we shared our prayer requests, spoke words of biblical encouragement, and even shared food and simple treats. More than the fellowship, we’re grateful for how God uses these ordinary means of grace to stir our hearts toward Christ, strengthen our love for one another, and encourage us to pursue godliness together.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together… but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:24–25
