Heritage is not defined only by the passage of time or the land we inherit. It is continuously built through the customs we preserve, the sacred mountains that cradle us, and the unity that holds our communities together.

On 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻, we honor our 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀, our 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, and every 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 whose dedication nurtures the heart of our province. Their deep respect for the land, living traditions, and unyielding spirit have paved the way for the vibrant paradise we call home. Kumusta man ang inyong first month sa college, 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬? Nakuratan ba mo sa kapaspas sa dagan sa klase ug sa lab? The adjusting phase is never easy, but you just survived your first wave! Be proud of yourselves. 🌊✨

Sa atong mga 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, wala ra ba mo naluya anang 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM nga schedule? Grabeha jud nga endurance test ani no? Pahuway sad panagsa mga lods. ☕😵‍💫

Sa mga 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, we know the majors are getting heavier. Take a deep breath. Valid ra kaayo kapoyon, pero laban lang gihapon ta, okay? 📚💪

Ug sa atong mga 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, our graduating warriors, kumusta ang sleepless nights sa thesis ug compre prep? Gamayng utong na lang jud! 💻🎓

Of course, to 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, thank you for your endless guidance and unwavering patience, especially during those lectures and long lab sessions. We appreciate you, Sirs and Ma'ams! 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬🧪

Honestly, this August has been a massive rollercoaster of quizzes, pending lab reports, and endless readings. Naay mga adlaw nga lami na mo give up, pero here we are, standing strong at the end of the month. It is completely okay to feel exhausted. Take this time to breathe, catch up on sleep, and rest your minds away from the periodic table.

On 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚, we honor the Filipinos who gave their 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡, 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 in service of our nation. Their sacrifices helped shape the freedom and opportunities we now have. Today, we give thanks to those who gave what they could for the country, whether through great acts of courage or quiet acts of service.

Every 21st day of August, for 43 years, we remember 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨 “𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲” 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫., whose courage and sacrifice left a lasting mark on our nation’s history.

Today is more than just a holiday. It is a reminder of a Filipino who chose to stand for 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 and 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 despite the dangers he faced.

Let us continue to remember his courage, his love for the country, and the values he stood for. 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, and 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 are worth protecting.
