The Central Mindanao University ROTCU extends its heartfelt congratulations to two outstanding ROTC Alumni on their remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to service, as they continue to bring honor to the unit and the nation.

A former Corps Commander of the Central Mindanao University ROTC Unit (Academic Year 2017–2018). 2LT MICHAEL JAY SUNGAHID PA, Class 64 “ Gundaway “ - 2026, he has exemplified exceptional leadership, discipline, and unwavering dedication to service. Notably, he was also one of the cadets who participated in the ROTC Cultural Understanding and Language Program (CULP) 2018 held at the University of Guam campus, further reflecting his commitment to growth and global engagement.

Joining in this recognition is 2LT ALDRIN A CAMARILLAS PA, Class 03 “Talagilab” - 2026, who served as a former Company Commander (2020–2021). A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and a proud PED Awardee, he has likewise demonstrated excellence, leadership, and dedication in his journey toward becoming an officer.

Their journey from leading the CMU ROTC Unit to earning the rank of Second Lieutenant is a remarkable achievement that inspires every cadet to pursue excellence and serve with honor.

The 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL BERNARD T RAGUS FS (GSC) PA, Group Commander, successfully conducted the Closing Ceremony of the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) 31–32 and 41–42 Class 02-2026, on 25 June 2026 at Camp Osito D. Bahian, Impalambong, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The graduation ceremony marked the successful completion of the cadets' training and celebrated their dedication, discipline, and commitment to service. One of the most memorable moments of the event was the historic debut of the Silent Drill Exhibition, the first performance of its kind during an RSCT-ARAPT graduation. The exhibition captivated the audience with its flawless ex*****on, synchronized movements, and disciplined rifle handling, reflecting the graduates' extensive training and unwavering commitment to military excellence. The ceremony also featured a Ceremonial Parade, where the graduating cadets proudly displayed the professionalism, confidence, and esprit de corps they had developed throughout the training.

The Central Mindanao University ROTC Unit proudly congratulates Class DI-MASINDAK and Class LAKAN TIKAS Class 02-2026, particularly the 1CL and 2CL Advance Officers of the CMU ROTC Unit, for successfully completing this rigorous training. Your perseverance, discipline, and commitment have brought honor not only to yourselves but also to the University and the CMU ROTC Unit.

Theme: Reinforcing Leadership Prowess and Career Continuity of ROTC Advance Cadets

The Central Mindanao University ROTC Unit proudly participated in the Leadership Town Hall 2026, the first program of its kind conducted by the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), RESCOM, PA, held at the Headquarters, 403rd Infantry (Peacemaker) Brigade, Camp Osito D. Bahian, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The activity gathered ROTC cadets, cadettes, officers, and Graduate Military Assistants (GMAs) across the region, providing a platform for leadership development, mentorship, and career orientation within the Reserve Force. Representing CMU ROTCU, ROTC officers and cadet leaders actively participated in discussions and learning sessions to gain valuable insights on leadership, military service, and career pathways from officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The program strengthened leadership skills, camaraderie, and the commitment to uphold the values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty.

This recognition reflects the dedication, discipline, and collective efforts of the cadets, cadettes, officers, Graduate Military Assistants, and training staff, demonstrating excellence in leadership, military proficiency, administration, and organizational effectiveness while upholding the core values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty.

This year’s inspection highlighted the unwavering dedication of participating institutions in upholding the highest standards of leadership, training, administration, and tactical proficiency. Leading the roster of outstanding performers was 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗼 (𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗦𝗡𝗗), which achieved a remarkable Grand Slam victory after securing the Championship title for three consecutive years, garnering an impressive overall rating of 𝟗𝟕.𝟐𝟗%. Following closely was 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝗠𝗨), which earned the distinction of 1st Placer with an outstanding average score of 𝟗𝟓.𝟐𝟓%. The 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗖) secured the 2nd Placer position with a commendable average of 𝟗𝟓.𝟎𝟓%, while the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣) emerged as the 3rd Placer with an overall rating of 𝟗𝟑.𝟖𝟐%.

The RAATI serves as a vital mechanism in reinforcing accountability, assessing operational effectiveness, identifying institutional strengths and areas for improvement, and promoting continuous development to sustain excellence and mission readiness among ROTC units. RAATI 2026 was spearheaded by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗚𝗦𝗖 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑨𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 4𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚 “𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒅” 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒎𝒚, who served as the Chairman of the inspection team.
