HIGHLIGHTS | 1st IQA 2026 Closing Meeting

The University successfully concluded its 2026 Internal Quality Audit through a Closing Meeting attended by process owners, unit heads, and members of the Internal Quality Audit Team.

The activity featured the presentation of audit findings, audit synthesis, and the Acceptance and Compliance to Audit Findings delivered by Dr. Alan P. Dargantes, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension (VPRDE) and Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the President.

In his message, Dr. Dargantes underscored the University's commitment to addressing audit findings and leveraging them as opportunities for continuous improvement, institutional effectiveness, and service excellence.

As the audit cycle comes to a close, the University remains steadfast in fostering a culture of quality and ensuring that improvement initiatives translate into meaningful outcomes for its stakeholders.

The delegation proudly represented the university at the 6th HLU Annual Conference and WURI Global Ranking Ceremony, hosted by National Chi Nan University in Puli, Taiwan from May 6–8, 2026.

Leading the participation were Prof. Erwin P. Ambasa (Assistant Director, Office of Quality Assurance), Atty. James M. Violon (Director, Office of Legal Counsel), Dr. Cecilia O. Bucayong (Director, OESM), and Dr. Daryl Jane A. Caballero (Dean, College of Business Management), who will showcase the institution’s innovative programs on a global stage.

Organized by the Hanseatic League of Universities and the World University Rankings for Innovation Foundation, the conference brought together university leaders, innovation champions, and representatives from institutions worldwide. Anchored on the theme “Reimagining Higher Education through Innovation: Advancing Global Impact, Industry Collaboration, and Societal Transformation,” the event served as a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and recognition of transformative initiatives shaping the future of higher education.
