𝐌𝐀-𝐑𝐄𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐍𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐓, 𝐖𝐀𝐆 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐍𝐀𝐌𝚰𝐍!

To embark on research and learn it by heart, that’s one mantra every Political Science student eventually has to embrace. Research may sound intimidating, but it is also an opportunity to ask better questions, explore the unknown, and understand the political world beyond the classroom.

𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜-𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛: 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 introduces second-year political science students to the foundations of Political Science research, from finding researchable topics and organizing ideas to understanding scholarly writing and the basic structure of a research paper. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, we aim to make research less daunting, more meaningful, and hopefully, something we can say: “𝘔𝘢-𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯, 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘪 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩!”

We are truly honored to be guided by 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒆 𝑫. 𝑳𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒐 of the Department of Political Science, whose expertise and guidance will greatly contribute to our academic growth and research development.

Today marks another step forward for the League of Political Science Students as we officially begin A.Y. 2026–2027. The plans have been laid out, meetings have been held, responsibilities have been assigned, and now, the real work begins.

We are proud to announce that 𝐋𝐏𝐒𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, successfully completing the necessary requirements for the Re-Accreditation of Student Organizations with an outstanding 99% screening rating.

This reflects the preparation, coordination, and commitment behind the League’s continued operation. More importantly, it is a testament to our responsibility to the students we represent.

In commemorating National Heroes Day, we shall not only make space for those whom history has prominently remembered and whom generations have afforded pedestalized glorification. We also hold greater obligation to remember our ancestors whose names may never have found their way into nationally produced textbooks, and whose stories may have been buried in the haze of time, but who were there, present, steadfast, and willing to stand on the right side of history.

Hayaan nating ang kanilang mga karanasan ay magbuklod sa pagkilala na ang tunay na diwa ng kabayanihan ay hindi lamang dapat nakabaon sa mga talata ng kasaysayan, ito ay patuloy pinaninindigan at isinasabuhay.

While we often associate heroes with the markers of the past, the spirit of heroism has weathered the test of time. It continues to take new forms and finds new faces among the people of the present.
Our heroes are not only those who fought in battles or stood against the forces of their time. They are also those who continue to serve, to resist injustice, to protect the dignity of others, to speak when silence is easier, and to work for a country they may never personally see become the Philippines they dream of.

Nawa'y ang kalayaang ipinamana ng mga nauna sa atin ay magawa nating mapanindigan ng lubos. Hangga't may isang Pilipinong naaagrabyado, nauudyok sa hirap, gutom, at mapanghilang tanikala, dulot ng sistematikong pananamantala ng gobyerno, hindi matatapos ang laban para sa malaya at mapagpalayang bansa. Sa mga pagkakataon ding ito tunay naipapakita na hindi lang sa paggunita natatapos ang lahat, kundi sa paghahanap ng kasagutan sa tanong, ano ang maihahabilin mo para sa henerasyong susunod sa iyo?
